According to market data side amount of sell orders in Dodixie is half of what was in the beginning of the year. All largest markets are going down this year but not that strong.
Why Dodixie?

Could be that more of the population has moved to other parts of space.
I have been trading in Dodixie since July it is by far my favorite hub. It feels perfectly balanced in the sense that market orders don't get undercut in seconds and prices are high enough to make you interested in trading there.
I wouldn't be worried about Dodixie crumbling, not unless another hub pops up in Gallente space to take it's place.

Dodi has had around 4T in sell orders all year according to the data you linked.
I'm about 0.3% of that right now. Turnover no better or worse than historically.
There have been narrow changes to Dodi but I'll keep those to myself.

Eve-marketdata is very broken. If you pull data from crest the figures are massively different from those on CREST. At one point I had just over 40b of goods in a station and wanted to see how much else was in the station. Ran the updated and whatnot, 29b. Was like... WTF?!?!
It's a shame because station ranking is a really good feature and other market sites don't have it.

I would assume that it's as strong as ever with the additional movements to LS by a range of null groups and the continued cal wars. Do you work with the sub hubs like ostingle? (On mobile not sure that's spelt correctly)
Please like my posts it makes me feel better about the time I spend on the forums

It's a shame because station ranking is a really good feature and other market sites don't have it. This.
The extra features of eve-marketdata made it so much better than the other sites, but the numbers it gives no longer reflect what's really going on.
I really hope the site begins to use CREST, or sorts out its issues because I'd love to be able to use it again.

If market data is not reliable, it would be unreliable for all station equaly. Dodixie is losing more, than amarr or rens. And it does not look like a single spike. Its a clear tendency. |

Data was saying 4.5 trillion or so for most of the last 12 months. Slight trend down to 4.0-4.1T recently, where it stayed until the data went odd on the 28th of August. I suspect (cannot prove) that someone bought several trillion ISK worth of PLEX gamewide on that day - this would explain the reduced sell order volume.
Dodi isn't dying. It's contracting slowly but so is EVE right now, and the period from 28-8 to today is an anomaly.
It is odd to now be up to almost one half of one percent of the Dodixie market, however (as well as now also being 15% of the Uedama market), after being less than a quarter of a percent of Dodi for so long.
Shoot everyone. Let the Saviour sort it out.

according to my evidence the trade-competition in Dodixie is higher then in Jita.....that says to me not so much buyers, so prices will go down further till they reach or undercut Jita. (Which in some cases they already do.) |

nope, emd highly depends on people uploading market info.
if that info is missing or simply falsified (which is trivial to do for smaller places), the data is borked.

Do you mean, that marketdata side only shows what players tells it to show? That it does not pull data from the game itself? Than it is really 100 % unrealiable. If Jita dwellers will decide to be lazy and will not upload anything - Jita will display 0 sell orders?

If Jita dwellers will decide to be lazy and will not upload anything - Jita will display 0 sell orders? Basically, yeah. Eve-marketdata relies entirely on player uploads from clients that scrape the market cache. But even when it is updated, order seem to be missing. I think the site is just not working correctly and the developer has no interest in fixing it.
I have a system that I use to pull data straight from CREST, and that shows dodixie as holding like 5t in sell orders last time I ran it.

Have you think of including the variation of the number of the active players on Eve, because at present there is a significant reduction in the number of connected not? |

Another Eve is dying thread? I hope not...
Anyway.
Just for comparison:
Jita one year ago: 110657 sell orders and 66040 buy orders Jita now: 64370 and 48461
Amarr year ago: 60079 and 40366 now: 41787 and 33521
Dodixie year ago: 43578 and 26327 now: 26213 and 22636
As you can see sell oredrs almost halved, but buy orders are still keep numbers. Interesting. If this tool is so unreliable, it should be unreliable for both types, shouldn't it?
