Hi,
searched the forum here and didn't find any info on that (except: "it's that way now" :))
That's gonna stay that way? Right/wrong?

They occasionally offer other **** you can buy cheaply on the market anyway (Carbon, Building Blocks, R.A.M tech etc)...
I think the days of these agents offering you the supplies needed to manufacture tech II are long gone.

Since Kali they don't even offer that stuff anymore, just ISKs.
I mean, I don't expect those "t2-days" coming back but before the last patches they offered at least some science skills or reactions giving courier missions a little variation like "what am I getting now". Right now, it's just "fly your indy from a to b and get the cash *yawn*".
But I guess, most people prefer being payed directly in cash, right?

Hence my thread "Lvl4 Courier Officially Dead Now?". We're down to less than 3mil an hour (including storyline missions but excluding LP value) for an activity that while being as free of risk as high-sec mining probably requires more effort. Running the missions afk is probably 1mil an hour if you're lucky.
What annoys me is that this will surely drive the last of us away from courier missions and that point why would CCP bother to put the effort in to give some decent missions? -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

Worse, the special storyline missions also seem to reward with cash only...

I just got an implant from a storyline so you can stop spreading that doom and gloom rumor of yours.
And it's about freaking time that we only get ISK From missions. Missions used to give really worthless items to ya instead... instead of a 700k bonus I'd get some ammo worth a fraction of that. THANKS. This is an excellent change and long overdue imo. It hurt industrialists as well... they had people selling tens of thousands of ammo, etc because they were getting it from agents all the time... now the people who produce ammo can make a larger profit on it finally.

Good, one thing less to worry.

No, I got a quantum physics skill or POS-turrets selling fnr more than a million (manufacturing agent lvl4, standing around 9). Right now, the highest ammount of ISK was about 750k at all so from my pov, the rewards drastically dropped.
Edit, one more thing: the rewards really seem to be messed up. For hauling 0.5m¦ 1 jump I get 500k, for 6000m¦ 4 jumps I get, 300k. Makes no sense in my eyes... or does it?

Did you always get those "expensive" skillbooks? I'm going to bet that most of the time you got crappy ones and occasionally you got decent ones. I'd rather take the ISK and cut out the extra work.

Of course not, I got the most expensive ones only a couple of times a week. But the skills - even the less expensive ones - gave you more options to deal, making the whole process more intresting.

Most of the times, I got reactions. Even if I had sold the items directly to the greedy-traders, I would have gotten more ISKs than now... so I can't see the benefit.
Click, click, click... sold. What extra work are you talking about?

good points all round the storylines are about 20% implants 80% ISK and collasal can 40k m3 move about 5 jumps seems the only presenting one atm
however i run these in low sec and there should be some reward after all i do still provide pirates with targets as they have driven everyone else out
500k per mission with bonus and 1000 LP out here ( max out high tech connect and level 3 labour connections) seems a bit low esp given the odd hauler loss.
Im guessing that some of us need to do them occaisonally as CCP doesnt improve what doesnt get used a lot so if we as a group encourage them to be done even if a couple a day CCP might look at improving - adding - expanding and variationalisng these subclass of missions
the ISK inflation will eventually push em to add some non ISK rewards but it will take time

Don't forget a major benefit of hauler missions: You don't **** off the other factions by blowing up their ships. That's the only reason I ever do them.

I used to be able to get POS fuel while semi afking (mining on another account) doing L4 courier missions which is now out the door as it seems. So does this mean I actually have to purchase this stuff now from when I used to be able to mission for it?

In the near future, i'm going to have to move my caldari alt to amarr space for various reasons, and to get enough standings for doing other various things i want to i'm going to have to run couriers, not or the rewards, but purely for the corp standing increases. My alt is an utter carebear, even more than i am, plus i sold my cruisers to a n00b corp-mate, so couriers are really my only option.
