Hello,
does anybody know if there are any Lvl-4 Mission-Agents on a High Sec Island?
If there are some - Can you please name the system?

There are several.
Carebearium use the jumps to continuous hi-sec & security filters along with agents to find what you are looking for. |

Fire up Agent Finder tool. Right click on level 4 agent and click 'set destination'. If travel path gets orange or red, then success!
Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Hehe, yeah, that will work but it's hit or miss.
An easier / quicker option is to open up Star Map - 'Color Stars By Security Status' - mouse over each Island system for info. If the info shows a corporation, mouse on that to bring up services menu, then mouse on Agents to bring up Agents menu. Make a note if a level 4 agent is stationed there and then continue searching the other systems in the Island pocket.
Use the old Star Map option, I don't think the new Beta Map will work. Also make sure you have jump gate lines showing so you know for sure it's an Island system.

Find an island in Dotlan. Choose "NPC kills (24)". Color would hint you where they are ;) |

As Bumble said, try Solitude. There are 3 there I think, Federal Customs, Duvolle (or Poteque, can't recall which) and a Navy agent as well IIRC.
There isn't any simple way to get a list but the suggestions above would all work. There is a list of islands in the links of the MOTD for the Haulers Channel (in game chat channel). Personally I have Ombeys Eve Maps printed out from when I started playing, dotlan would achieve the same thing, then use the Agent Finder to check for particular regions and look at the solar systems in dotlan or Ombey. |

There's 4 in Solitude high-sec:-
Poteque in Stoure Federal Intelligence Office in Boystin Federation Customs in Octanneve Ducia Foundry in Larryn
There's also a mining+couple of distribution ones scattered around too.
Also you could try Chibi in Aridia if you prefer a Caldari mission agent. |

Boystin was the one that I used to use. It was nice in 2010 but then got awfully busy as people around New Eden realised that the main draw of Solitude was...solitude. lol :)

Most people go there and don't stay past a month or two though - they find the market doesn't support everything they need and there's things like skillbooks / other items that are only available in the low-sec area. Having to import what you need or self build + make regular trips into the low-sec for stuff burns out all but the most dedicated players looking for a quiet area to live in. |

Yeah, I can see how that would happen. Personally, I was mostly self-sufficient with BPs and whatnot, but for everything else, I would have to pay a slight premium to have it JF'd (I assume) from Jita.
It was totally worth it for the peace and quiet, though :)

Since you are looking for a high sec island to mission in have you considered that there is significant risk that those missions will take you into low sec, and the smaller the island the more likely it is that you will be sent into low sec? If you have, or this is what you want then ignore me. If you have not then I suggest you do consider it before moving a mission ship into a high sec island. |

It's really no more than in contiguous highsec.

It's really no more than in contiguous highsec. Who are you trying to fool? It is possible to find level 4 agents that will NEVER send you into low because there are too many jumps between you and low. The closer you get to low sec the more likely it is that you will be sent there for missions and by time you are 4 jumps or less from low it is a virtual guarantee that you will be sent to low sec at some point. For you to mission in a high sec island and never be sent to low sec it would have to be large enough and the agent located so that you were at least 4 jumps from low sec in all directions. |

Used to mission in a spot where I was 3 jumps from LS. The only missions that EVER sent me to LS in over 1k missions was burner missions. Constellations probably play a role somehow. |

And looking at the Dot Lan map the only high sec island is Olide. Because a system or region has low sec only access from your current position does not make it an island. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Everyshore
A high sec island is a high sec system or group of systems that are only accessible by traveling thru low / nul to get into them. The Mili loop as we called it back in the day is just an example of a true high sec island. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Devoid/Mili |

Confirming the Atai island in Lonetrek is awesome. I lived there back in the glory days of no available ME slots. Endatoh had a lab with short research queues. There are two ice systems and a variety of agents.
The bad: Aunenen sucks. A lot. The island side isn't typically camped but the Nonni side can suck. Cov ops and BRs are OK, but the residents enjoy cluttering take off points with cans, drones, wrecks, et al. I ran an Orca up the Black Rise entry without issue.
But there is a market and skillbooks on the island, so it ain't terrible. But it HAS been a while. YMMV.
