Caldari Navy agents are very popular its a pity though that the best lvl4 ones are concentrated in a few systems close together. The lag in saila and motsu is dire and completing missions during busy times with very bad lag is not enjoyable - infact its a painful excercise. We either need CCP to either fix the lag problem (which has been going on sometime and we seem to get one excuse after another, bms for example) or seed more lvl4 agents in other systems to spread the load, having people who want to mission on more nodes would suely help instead of having them congregating in a few laggy systems

We don`t need more agents. We need a better agent system, thats all. ________________________________________________

I have to agree with the agent seeding problem, we need more lvl 4 agents of same quality spread out so that the load will be distributed evenly with mission runners...it really is crappy when everyone doing lvl 4 missions is doing them for the same 2 agents causing major lag and traffic jams |

the agents would have to be of equal quality otherwise people arent gonna move or everyone is gonna move to the best quality agent |

Eliminate quality altogether and make loyalty points accrue at the corp level.
Problem solved.

Their's 18 caldari agents(intel, comm, sec, surv) in high sec with a -10 or worse quality. It would be pretty good if they flipped their quality to positive. I'll never understand why they have so many negative quality agents in the first place.

I don`t get it, ppl want more agent, but making more agents will make the database larger thus slower thus generate more lag....

Cash in a good offer, sell the stuff, switch agent after that. Wheres the problem? Well, if you don't then the lag isn't that big a problem after all, is it?

Well, consider ccp is trying push people out into low sec area to do missions. I doubt they would add more high ql agents in .5+ systems. Just I don't know why ccp still so stiff about this since most of the missions runners will not bother with low sec. CCP is only doing for one purpose; that is in hope when people so sick of lag then would move to low sec. Which honestly is very doubtful. Most of the people would quit the game due to lag before moving to low sec. hehe CCP's logic is kind of funny. They removed Yulai only to create a larger hub Jita. Wonder what they are going to do about mission agents.

Even without adding agents, spreading them more would be a nice thing.
There are a good number of systems with a bunch of high quality agents, all of the same level, so a player going to farm mission will use those system exlusively, switching agents when he has to wait the 4 hours after refusing an unwanted mission.
Wouldn't be better to move the second 4 +18 agent to another system?
For the above post about the minus agents: they are needed for the people that are still increasing the standing with the specific corporation or faction.

Actually, make more agents with good and same QL will not really make database larger since the amount of mission runners wouldn't really increase much. It will only spread out the crowd to lighten the load of nodes currently under heavy stress. It doesn't have to be QL 20 or 19 even. Somewhere between 16-18 will do. It is just matter of simply accept the fact that missions runners don't want to go to low sec. Sooner ccp understands this, sooner the lag will decrease. Empire doesn't have to be so laggy but it is the ideology of ccp made it so.
This makes sense, we need more agents in other high sec areas. Surely CCP would agree that spreading the load would lower the lag, I know CCP may want us all out in low sec, but many players prefer high sec for a number of reasons and not just mission runners.
Can we have more agents please, would make a nice Xmas pressy

Sounds good. Problem solved - my invoice is on the way to you.
But really...at some point while you were grinding out all that LP...did it not occur to you that possibly Motsu is a lag-pit and you should probably leave? I worked that out on my very first visit to the Motsu area - its simply not feasible to run missions there with all the hordes of CN Sheep, so I found a much quieter system and I've never been back to Motsu. It didn't even cross your mind? Or are you one of those folks who thinks you have to work for the Navy to get Navy ships. hehe
Bottom line: Don't blame others for your own errors of judgement.

as a slight detour here just an idea also - multicorp multiagent storylines make em say 10% more LP and or rewards basically agent a would give u mission a then would ask the player for an escalating mission or just another standard mission ( a package of 2 or 3 here could if all completed result in say a 25% bonus reward at the end)
agent a mission would be finished agent a would send u to agent b perhaps in another corp up to 10-20 jumps away u would go see agent b do their mission ( it shuold tie in with mission a in the same way multi part storylines do now) u do the agent b mission who refers u to agent c * note this should take u even to another empire and or a low sec or 0.5 system to do a courier back to agent a and then youre cycle is complete
the idea being warp to zero now and also the fact players are moving around seeking the next part might assist with at least keeping places like motsu fluid as ppl move around slightly.
The idea being to move them around reducing lag
at the same time perhaps bring back factional ammo 1000 caldri navy units for example.
Just an idea instead of adding new agents ( non CN corps could get a boost outside calderi space) scope, wiykaomi, native foods for example. All those calderi corps in amarr minmatar and gallente space that are galaxy wide calderi export orientated corps that hardly get used.

the problem is LAG, answer is simple, create 4 of each agent, and put 1 in each race empire, problem of lag reduced by at least 75% is it not possible for ccp to write a small "search" code prior to giving the mission. in effect the code looks at surrounding systems up to 3 or 4 away from agent system and simply sets the mission in the system with the lowest amount of ppl . thirdly, make the lp rewards much closer between lower qualty agents, hence player ask's himself, hmm agent in motsu gives 6k lp but agent in kuomon gives 5.9 ppl in motsu currently 300, ppl in kuomon 22, i know where i'd go.
