On February the 26th of 2007 the BIG Lottery round number 100 will start.
(which lasts until Sunday, March 11, 2007)
The BIG #100 may still seem far of, but preperations have already been underways for a couple of months, believe it or not.
Needless to say we want to celebrate the BIG #100 in BIG BIG style.
In fact, we plan to celebrate it with so much style and extravaganza that we hope to outright floor you with utter awe.
I hope you over the years have come to expect nothing less from a BIG Lottery anniversary draw!

Even though preperations have already been underway for a good while, nothing is yet final (except that it will be mind-numbingly BIG), and lots lots more is still to be worked out.
To that end, I would very much like to pick the communal mind of you all, as to what *you* would like to see happen in this incredible milestone of an event.
What would make *you* want, nay *crave* to get your hands on some tickets.
What would make your blood boil in anticipation of winning, what would make you drool with lust for a prize?
The sky is the limit in this one, hell, we'll *give* you the sky if thats what you want (and we are able  )

(none of the above are (atm?) actual prizes we can give away)

(I have a personal preference for "new" ideas if possible).
Let your mind run free - Don't inhibit yourself with what you *think* could be possible.

Congrats, Glad to see BIG Lotteries are still around!
Some Ideas:
- Eon Magazine Subscription
- Eon Issues 1-5 (get some back issues!)
- Quafe (the real stuff that ccp sold if you can get your hands on some still!)
- Faction frigs, cruisers, bs's, etc. etc.
- I sure like that idea about having a system named after me, or at least a permanent NPC station, not capturable and changeable ones like in 0.0
- To have YOU (TornSoul) as my personal mining/hauling/slave/lackey for a day!
- BIG Shares! (ooohhh yeah baby!)

How about 1 month free passes to 0.0 regions donated by different alliances for 1 corp including an office for the time (free passage out etc)? Good way of getting players involved into 0.0 and maybe a potential way for an alliance to recruit a new corp.

re 100B ISK : I actually aim/hope/pray that we will be able to accumulate that in total for all the prizes. That would be really really BIG
Also - Private/corp/alliance sponsorships are highly encouraged as well.
If all goes well, this is going to be a highly profiled BIG Lottery round, with 3-6K participants, and perhaps tenfold that reading/hearing about it.
So for a PR opertunity, it rarely gets much BIGger.

I got a BIG idea. How about every single reproducible ship(non-unique) of a race of the players choice. So every t1, t2, and faction (navy/pirate editions) Frig, Destroyer, Cruiser, BC, BS, Industrial, Freighter along with a Dread, Carrier, Mothership (?) and Titan (?!?!). What the heck, throw in a full t2 fit for the ships too. That definitely be BIG! Maybe minus the Titan

This is a great opportunity to make a lot of people happy :)
Why go for one mega-winner?
Why not arrange for 100 BIG winners? (as opposed to the typical 3)
One thing that would be awesome would be a corp setup personal assistance, added as a corp in your alliance. e.g. A POS, with the ships of the faction desired, all the training books (they get very expensive) and free protecion for a given period.
Not only would you help some players achieve a strong (fun, new) experience in the game, but also a potential future partner/ally.
I am sure that if you present the idea to CCP (that you have infact maintained this BIG game for 100 x 2 weeks now, they would agree to grant the winner their name on the moon, their POS will be attached to :)

Well if the isk from the resale of tickets allows it:
Maximum run BPC of 5 (more??) T2 items of the winners choice (think T2 cargo expanders).
Fittings for a Titan (that would definetly get the winner to consider entering the Capital ship business).

How about a custom skin on every ship won, so you could have something coloured or the ship name painted on the outside or a quote appropriate to the size of ship, so on a frig you'd maybe have the name and on a titan you could have a whole poem.

Since it is supposed to go BIG:
- Remove (for one round) the 5M limit for buying tickets
- Make it 100B jackpot + sideprizes (a mothership), even if had to make more lottery like. That is the prize might not be divided if there are low number of participants who have bad luck (nobody gets the right numbers) -> with mathematical odds in BIG favour, should be able to get outside investors to backup the price for share of profit..

What about winning a character?
Say the winner will be allowed to pick freely (up to a certain amount of isk) that BIG will purchase for the winner.
This character could be either be picked out of a list where people post the characters they wish to sell and at what price. Once list is gathered, and lottery is drawn and winner is announced, so is the complete list of characters. Or, it could be from the WTS forum or anything.
Perhaps winning the character TornSoul? hah, that would be the BIGest there could be.
This would certainly be interesting for everyone, as anyone would enjoy a new character (new possibilities in Eve). Perhaps throw in a years subscription in Eve Game Time Cards aswell for this character?

The Cavalry - A fleet of 20-50 pilots for a few hours, to be used anywhere for any purpose, with 3? days preperation time.
A red button - 1 shot doomsday device (without the skill requirements)
My personal (empire) slave - limited to stuff that can be mostly done afk, but my worker nonetheless. Can do simple tasks, like gathering all your empire loot in one place...

I suggest complete ship set ups and bps for all the parts includeing the ship. that way that if the ship is lost there prize never will be. frigates would be an awsome example they are good to a degree easy to rebuild and can be quite formidable if fitted with the right equipment. cruisers would be the idea ship to fit and add bp to though.

First of all, BIG, this week will be my first lotto from you guys, so Im looking forward to what i may win *fingers crossed* hers some suggestions...
Faction Battleship of choice, vindicator, rattlesnake, storm, corvus, so on so forth... possibly comming with a full setup be it tech 2 or faction gear
carriers, tech 1, would be nice to select a carrier, mabey even for the winner get money and ship...

personally designed ship, named by the player, skills set by the player, somthin like that, or the bpo for such a thing, that would rock, *wonders if big can pay the devs enough*

The one thing you can't buy in this game is time. If CCP would allow it, have the winner be given 15 mil skill points. That's about 1 year of training with good implants.

An Outpost of choice in a 0.5=< system of choice for you to own and name like any other station owner- possibly in a special design that CCP help with design acording to your ideas. I.e. formed like the BIG logo or winners personal preferences (imagine your self to finaly have an office in a beautifull mimatar station).
This has some cool prospects:
-you gain steady income from all the trades and uses etc.
-your own Rn'D, refining and manufacturing plants in safe space.
-It's easy to work into EvE lore and would give owner a permanet mark on the eve map that can never be taken.
-Best possible corperation/Alliance HQ you can get.
- The planet or moon it swings about could be [re]named after you or your corp/alliance too.
- possibly with personal warpgate close by to jitta or other places (little wild I know)
- Comes with freighter of choice and / or other ships to galore...
- Holds privarte stash of mins/ice/NPC parts and/or T2 parts...
- One or serveral BPO's of choice to use the your resources on (could also be interfaces and such with encryption books).

IMO there are two things that really could make EVE life better. Less time spent training and a nice (empire) home with an opportunity to get a steady income over time.
How about a skillbook that reduces the training multiplier on skill training? 1 redcution per level up till 5? Would give the winner the one ting that money can't buy, reduction in time.
And a nice station with everything the poster above me said. |

Well, this will probably be the first BIG lottery i've entered so this thread has persuaded me already with some of the ideas that have been put down :)
(Hell i think that this might be my first ever forum post i just happened to be bored at college)
Obviously it being the 100th BIG there should be more prizes so that more people come out from it happier. Eve is all about fun afterall.
Needs to be something absolutely UNIQUE for the prize if possible. I like the idea of a guys own moon - but think it would be wasted if someone stopped playing eve.
Hell I'd be inspired to play forever if i won a titan and the skill books to go with it.
I wouldnt expect CCP to go in favour of accellerating skill learning. There wouldnt be much point in playing if you had all the best skills in the game though. But some of those skillbooks are damned expensive.
I like the idea of a complete set of EON (1-6).
Maybe passes to the next EVE fanfest?
Im sure CCP could help out with that.
Eve is getting to be well rounded these days which i like to see and server downtimes seem to be a thing of the past which is good. So i think that anything that modifies the game is a bad idea.
Still, if all else fails.
