Is there a way I can see the total purchase value of my ship (hull+mods+rigs) without breaking out a calculator? I know prices change, but I'm looking for what I paid originally so that I can know at a glance the value of my ride. Is there a button somewhere that brings up the value? |

Nope. Unfortunately not.
There's third party sites like osmeum (not sure how to spell that I'm on my phone) and a couple of others that will give you an estimated value based off the current market costs but aside from that it's abacus time for you mate.
Better the Devil you know.

*Osmium, EFT and PYFA will also give you an estimate.

Just a point on your methodology.
What you paid originally has little to nothing to do with the value of the ship.
Someone that built a Procurer 5 years ago would have paid only 2.5m ISK for the materials for it. Someone that built a Dominix 3 years ago would have paid 80m. Both ships are considerably more expensive now.
On the other hand if you got scammed into buying a Vexor for 82m (thinking it was a Vexor Navy Issue) it's still a 12m ship. You had a 70m trading/scam loss.
Accounting this way is important if you ever get into trading and it's generally a good habit to have.
As for estimating prices of full fitted ships - I suggest assuming all tech 2 modules you fit are exactly 1 million ISK each. It's wrong, but usually close enough to be a worthwhile guideline. Don't forget drones. Ignore modules under 100k.
As an example - I often suicide gank using Vexors with the following fit:
- Highslots: 4x Heavy Neutron Blaster II (current market price 1.34m each but the estimate is 1m here) - Midslots: 3x the cheapest Sensor Booster, 1x the cheapest warp scrambler (basically 0 value) - Low slows: 3x Drone Damage Amplifier II, 2x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II (actual total cost 4m, estimate is 5m) - Rigs: 1x Medium Hybrid Burst Aerator, 1x Medium Hybrid Collision Accelerator (not sure of current prices but these usually sit around 0.25m each) - Drones: 2x Ogre II, 2x Hammerhead II, 1x Hobgoblin II
The estimate with my guideline is 14.5m in fittings plus 11m for the hull = 25.5. It's actually closer to 24m, but that's a good enough estimate to be useful.
