Well, they were short-lived and not specially successful.
CCP Seagull: "EVE should be a universe where the infrastructure you build and fight over is as player driven and dynamic as the EVE market is now".
62% of players: "We're not interested. May we have Plan B, please?"
CCP Seagull: "What Plan B?"

they weren't really there long enough for people to get upset about. turns out that many drifters plus amarr navy npcs caused performance/technical issues so they got yanked. Saw a few SS on twitter of CCP testing them on one of the test servers.

I read it as being once going on TQ, it was harder load on the servers or something like that. Understandable, would be like 23/7 fleet fights. But surprised it wasnt picked up for and accounted on Sisi. Oh welp, am still waiting, ready to roll(play)

The problem was that they worked just fine on the testing servers (all of them) but for some reason things got borked when applied to TQ, so they yanked em until they can figure out what it is - which is darn near impossible since it worked fine on ALL the testing servers. |

You're going to care when the buggers come and burn you out of your holes.
This is going to be a content vehicle, that can be used as a counter for lower player log in's.
Those that are sour about the lack of gud fights will be provided for, If the population can't generate content, then A.I. will be the back up.
I'm interested to see if the feature will mesh with citadels. If incursions follow you back home like seekers/drifters do.......
It will be worth the wait however it turns out.

I liked your post, just so I could unlike it.
When a person is insane, as you clearly are, do you know that you're insane? Maybe you're just sitting around, reading 'Guns and Ammo', masturbating in your own faeces, do you just stop and go, 'Wow! It is amazing how f*cking crazy I really am!'?

Yes.
They do have a jaded history of falling short with larger features, or leaving things broken or "as is"
But did you even read this thread? Or do you just like to drop poisonous little snippets here and there for your own amusement?
The feature was causing issues. They pulled it to sort those issues out. They will be re - implementing the feature when it's functioning as it was on the test servers.
Not: Soon (tm) Not: One day Not: After we fix or implement yada yada yada.....
It's a main piece of the direction the Devs are moving the game towards, including tie in's with lore, and the evolving story line. It's being attended to now, and will be delivered working as intended.
This isn't the old CCP. This is a new CCP actually giving a ****, with an Executive Producer who is making things happen. You don't need to offer continuous words of encouragement but you can keep your criticism constructive.
The Summer Of Rage called......they want their attitude back.

The point is that it was probably going to be exceedingly difficult to fund a war with the Drifters as powerful as they were made. Without any reasonable compensation for the massive losses, there is not enough incentive.
Consider that in every engagement, it is highly likely that you or one of your ships will be destroyed with a 750000 omni-damage weapon, probably more than once. Then consider that the Incursion is meant to spread, unlike Sansha Incursions. Basically, it is like a SOV war with bots that are almost impossible to counter.
It was designed to be an ISK sink, if you are almost guaranteed to lose ships. And the rewards for defeating them were too small to compensate the losses.
If there were actual benefits, rewards to giving away billions of ISK in ships, there would be more incentive to run the Incursions, aside from hoping the entire cluster doesn't fall to the Drifters, which would be the eventuality if they were not opposed. |

Most likely to return after the coronation of of the new emperor. Question. Why are drifters not become destroy the strategically important objects Amarr Empire
