After kill right system was made next to useless with the exclusion of ships killings from low sec, and as result you can get now kill rights just on hi-sec gankers and pod killers who are mostly -10 anyway, i was hit by another astonishing surprise: -75% standing penalty and access forever blocked to a NPC corporation and it's agents, and all of that because i killed a flashy pod, who moreover had a kill right on him!!!! Who designed this absurd mechanic and why is still in game this abomination? Because some sadistic developer implemented this nonsense in EVE it means that we will have to deal with this forever?! |

That was pretty lenient. Most ppl would just set you -10.
I thought you'd always be able to run level 1's nomatter your standing though.

You need a picture to get it anyway... The idea is very simple, remove that crap standing loss to NPC corporations for player kills! |

never actually posted in c&p.
If your idea is to remove standing loss for killing pods, justify it.
Why should you literally get away with murder? |

So using a kill right is a crime? I thought is justice! So i repeat in case you was not able to focus enough, and not paid enough attention to what i wrote before: that pod was flashy so was a valid and legal target. |

You should experience bigger jumps correcting standing than you do growing standing. And you can have a friend run level 4's with you in fleet. You can stay docked whilst he grinds.
Actions -> consequences.

Valid and legal is fine sec status wise.
But sec status =/= standing.

violence against a pod has always been a criminal action in both high and low sec. flashing or kill rights, you get penalized for it.

Shooting a flashy target is not a criminal action. It creates no criminal or even suspect flag. Only limited engagement. Also, kill rights are the same as going suspect. No need to differentiate between them.

It make sense, it just doesn't go the way you want.
Also, going back from -10 to positive standing is not that hard. Should take between 12 to 18 hours of mission blitzing, should you manage to force the storyline to be given for the right corporation, with a high alpha/dps ship. (I'm not telling that Jackdaw is the best one for that, but...)

The penalty is neither to harsh, nor is it useless, it is intended to affect you as a consequence for your criminal actions. The fact that it bothers you so much is proof positive that it is working as intended.
It occurs to me that your understanding of what kill rights are and how they work may be lacking if that is the case then these links will help. And someone correct me if I am wrong but it appears that a player will get a flashy red square for low sec status and a flashy red square with a skull in them if there are kill rights. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Kill_rights http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Kill_Rights
Moving on sorry this is the features and ideas section, this is where you post your ideas and WE have our way with them. That has and always will mean that you are going to get comments ranging from those that support your idea to those who think you are well can't use that here it would get me banned but I am sure you can figure it out based on the responses you have gotten so far. If you don't like that then do not post.
If you think you have been hit with a standings penalty in error then petition CCP to have it removed, not likely to happen but hey you can always give it a shot
And since you have been hit with the penalty my best advice is to follow this. Yes I know it is labeled "faction" repair plan but here is the secret so don't tell anyone else, it will work to repair NPC standings as well. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Faction_Standing_Repair_Plan |

Well it wouldn't be much of a deterrent if you could fix it quickly and easily.

I think he means something very different and I had the same thing occur to me and I did podkill people before.
On your character sheet you have your standings and you have the "liked by" and "disliked by" and the liked by is where your corporation and faction standings are listed.
On the "disliked by" tab you have your usuall suspects like Guristas, Serpentis, Thukker Tribe and so on that don't like you anymore. What happened is that he and I did pod someone very red blinky, blinky dude in highsec whom thought he could not be podded. That dude was in "The Scope" corporation.
Said clone went poof and "The Scope" set you to negative one bazillion because you executed your right of crime punishment.
Since when do NPC corporations set you to negative one bazillion? I have seen many things in 9 years but this one is very new and very undockumented.
I believe you confuse the concord standing hit you get when you gangk someone with a ganking alt.
