The half dozen dreads I helped dunk in Lowsec yesterday is definitely a high point.
Losing two 150m ISK Daredevils inside ~15 minutes was definitely a low point.

Flying a hull tanked neut tristan vs a Slicer. Early on in my solo frigate career he was kiting me for a bit but I managed to slingshot him into scram/web range neut him out with only 3% hull left.
With him scrammed, webbed and neuted out it wasn't too much longer before he went down, but sitting at 3% hull for that long while he slowly died was glorious. |

Not long after captors and af s were released I killed a hawk or a harpy in a scythe, granted ud set it up to deal with the new af s with a dual web. The pilots tears were satisfying. Whilst in a stabber I got tackled by 3 ceptors. Killed 2 and 1 ran.
Vice versa when I got my 1st phoon, the old style phoon with only around 10mil sp points I guess. I took it into null looking for a fight after seeing some YouTube vids of phoons tearing it up. 2 jumps in I got tackled by a interceptor gang maybe 20 plus ceptors and died horribly. Infact I never purchased the phoon I swapped it for a vaga which I bought from tyrrax thork. Then couldn't be arsed waiting for the skills to complete. |

the first one I did, a goon sabre in VFK just using a newbro catalyst, solo... many stories have been told, a legend was born, poems written, check the wiki... 2 years later thousands of goons have surrendered to my guns, mittanigrad is no more, they shut it down soon after the incident...

My vengeance versus a fleet stabber and a couple of frigates. The fleet stabber had a grudge and was calling me out in local, so I warped to a faction warfare mission where the npcs were friendly.........and they made the mistake of coming in.
But that was only because of the guy asking for it. My second favorite has to be when I had a punisher set up to take on big game, and a cynabal landed on me in a plex. I was slow to lock, so he got the first shot and went GCC....important because of what happened later on in the fight.
I killed his warriors and started working on his shield, his neut was putting a lot of pressure on me but my small nos was letting me hold tackle. I noticed he was aligned to the station.........and then he launched the ecm drones. I don't remember how long it took for them to jam me, but when the cynabal warped........I was right behind him and I guessed his range correctly.
Lock scram, back into orbit. I was worried he was going to de-aggro and dock but his shield was going down real fast. = )
The station sentries killed him in short order, and I had a shiny solo punisher vs cynbal kill.
The loss I remember the most, I was roaming with a buddy in legions. Two pimped out garmon legions. He went afk and I noticed a call for help in arzad.
I rushed over, leaving my buddy and the links behind. I was in a rush to get over there and help.
When I arrived on grid, I started burning at the enemy ships and most of them warped away, leaving just a single battleship. We destroyed the battleship pretty easily. I was sitting there pretty bummed about the enemy militia warping away. Suddenly, my 'allies' tackled me and started dpsing me down.
My buddy came back, but our links and his legion didn't make it in time. Turned out the so-called 'friendlies' were leaving militia soon and decided they were going to shoot at anything worth shooting. Their corp failscaded shortly after, so I never did get revenge.

My favourite was a Wight knight proteus that came to the rescue of a typhoon I was chewing on with an ishkur.
I remember thinking I would be happy with killing the battleship before the t3 just swatted me out of the sky. I had the phoon deep into hull when he did land and *pop*.....holy **** I'm still flying! OVERHEAT ALL THE THINGS!.
I was convinced I was losing right up till the moment his guns stopped and he asked for a ransom, "this isn't about isk" *boom*
I still smile about that.

My favorite remains a kill that I made after only about 3 months into the game. I came to eve b/c I wanted to pvp, unfortunately as a new player I couldnt find any pvp at all. I joined a brand new war dec corp which war dec'd some folk but mostly they would all just dock up. So I decided I would try my hand at can flipping. I was using a hound and managed to get a few hauler kills. Then one day, after I flipped a can, an orca appears. I didn't know what it was (or that it had a drone bay), but I tackled it anyway. It was a great kill - being a newbee, not knowing anything and still making a billion isk kill. Even the titan kills I have been on have not been that much fun. The target was very mad and swore to get me. Many years later when CCP changed the bounty system and people thought that bounties were meaningful, he popped out of the woodwork and slapped a billion isk bounty on me. He sent me a message saying that he finally had gotten his revenge. It was funny - it was like I killed him all over again.
I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

also i forgot about this one, cross post from "the pirate story thread" First link is to the post with the killmail attached
me about a year ago wrote:Tengu of Bable
Now the npc had one language and a common speech . As he moved eastward, he found a plain in Oursulaert and settled there.
He said to himself , GÇ£Come, letGÇÖs make Cruiser and Bling fit it thoroughly.GÇ¥ He used Pithum A-Type and story items instead of Tec 2, and Faction for High meta. Then he said, GÇ£Come, let me build myself a Blingu, with a paper stats that reaches to the heavens, so that i may make a name for myself; otherwise i will be scattered over the face of the whole Neweden.GÇ¥
But the Dark Lord came down to see the npc and the Cruiser and Bling the carebear was building. The Dark Lord said, GÇ£LOL, tengu giving me the carebear stare. Come, let us go down and Shinaniganise this derpy arse.GÇ¥
So the Dark Lord scattered him from there....by duel request....and neuts
actually really not dramatic at all but its a story, warp in suspect and he yellow boxed me, nothing to steal so i bumped him for a while, nothing, duel..........lol ,point, neut, it was over quicky.

Not so much a killmail, but long ago my corp had a special section of the killboard for me. Back when 1600 rolled tungsten 8x Ogre II Thoraxes were a thing, I flew them a lot. I got a lot of kills, but I also lost a lot of ships. My corp put a special entry on for the number of Thoraxes I lost. I think it was up to 27 over a couple months |

killed a freighter full of long-limb roes once, pretty cool 700mil drop
also got a few kills of some rather shiny fit ships, mostly golems/cnrs off memory
sadly I don't have any really cool losses. Although one that sticks out was the time I burnt out all but 3 of my guns as I killed the last ship and then stayed on field to loot (in hindsight it was a pretty stupid move, especially in an abaddon) till one of them came back and tackled me and I died a slow death.

Difficult to pinpoint one, every kill/loss is unique ... I remember a couple, my first solo loss, the first solo kill of course. The Worm I probed which was not in the POS but 1000km away, the Procurer I killed which asked for help in a system full of his buddies ... but nobody responded for 3min, the fight against a Gila where I lived with 2% structure. The Astero I baited into a fight, because the pilot expected me to be MWD fit from scanning my killboard, the Coercer I engaged in front of a station not realizing the gate guns are killing me, the 4 Svipuls I welped in a row in traps, my stupid attempt attacking Gorski's Taranis with a Purifier, ...... memories, there are so many more ...

34 billion ISK freighter we knocked out around this time last week in a Miniluv rage ping in concert with the illustrious knights of CODE. was extremely satisfying.
But there are ever so many ways to measure the notable kills. A couple weeks ago I was in an interceptor, shortly after GSF's recon-in-force to a section of Pure Blind. Titans were deployed to grid during a POS bash, and MOA was sending wave after wave of dictors to keep them locked down. Intel was dark. For all we knew, Pandemic Legion and any number of other honorable third parties could be getting ready to drop. I was in a Harpy fleet and we hadn't had very many targets during this op up to that point, but we were the ones left on grid with the titans, and it was up to us to defend them until the other DPS fleets could double back to our location. Dictor after dictor we knocked down, and we drove off not one but two waves of MOA Cerberus gangs. The bubbles eventually dropped and the titans were moved to safety. Outstanding kills that evening in that fight.
I could go on with any number of other great PvP incidents but I'll stop there.
Well no, there was that one time many years ago when Royal Hiigaran Navy had gone pirate. We had a standoff with a positive sec status roaming gang (possibly an FW group but I don't remember if FW was a thing yet.) I was in a Cerberus. We didn't want to compromise ourselves by firing first, but decided to do it anyway. We were way outgunned but we took town a five billion ISK RNI (with me as top damage and final blow) when five billion ISK was worth a lot more than it is today. We got convoed by the guy's gang leader afterward asking for a copy of the killmail (which in those days was an actual mail) because apparently nobody in the RNI's gang knew he was flying with all that bling until he raged in gang chat about it. None of our gang died. I think the RNI was the only casualty on the other side. It was the little details like the convo and the almost minute-long standoff at the gate prior to engagement that made it memorable. That's my go-to story for this topic usually.

4b ISK Paladin https://zkillboard.com/kill/46720291/.
Me and Javeeik were coming home from a successful little roam and about to go to bed. I decided on one last sweep around the low sec triangle for any ratters and noticed a Paladin out. Narrowed him down to a besieged site and tackled him with a Deimos and a Svipul.
We held him for ages but could not break him and we had to tag team several times to go buy more cap boosters to keep our tanks running. Eventually we rustled up some extra DPS from whatever nearby systems we could and he finally went down.
