Overview Race will take place Saturday, 17 October YC117. Race is scheduled to start promptly at 20:00 EVE time (GMT +0). Race will begin and end in the THERA wormhole system, and will consist of 12 intermediary waypoints. Each systemGÇÖs waypoint will be clearly marked, usually on-grid with a major landmark or other overview beacon.
A list of hints pointing to each waypoint will be provided to participants shortly before race start. Once the race has begun, participants must travel to each location and create a bookmark at the waypoint marker. When all 12 waypoint bookmarks have been created, contestants must then return to THERA to complete the race. To turn in bookmarks, as well as timestamp completion, participants must dock with top station (Thera XII - The Sanctuary Institute of Paleocybernetics) and contract all 12 bookmarks to M1sty. For clarity, her name will be linked in the event channelGÇÖs MOTD. Anyone wishing to contribute something towards the race or Cares for Kids should direct their donations to M1sty. Travel through dangerous sections of space may be required, so fly smart. Participants should keep an eye on eve-scout.com for up-to-date information on entrances to Thera. Participants requiring assistance getting into or out of Thera should request a scout. New Eden is a big, and often violent place. Your safety cannot be guaranteed.

RULES Race is open to all EVE players. Upon request by their CEO, members of Signal Cartel and the EvE-Scout alliance are not allowed to participate. There are no ship or fitting restrictions. PvP between participants is allowed, but not required. Participants who get ship or pod killed may reship and continue the race. Participants may complete the course checkpoints in any order they wish, and take any route they wish. Use of Cynos, Jump Bridges, and other forms of long-range travel are forbidden. Travel through wormhole space is explicitly allowed. Tampering with the course, collusion with other racers or outside parties, faking waypoint bookmarks, abusing the reship-upon-death rule, abuse of jump clones, and any other dishonest actions against the spirit of the race and good sportsmanship will be considered cheating, and the associated participants will be disqualified. All decisions and judgements made by race administrators are final.
