Market Window.
ISIS.
Pick either. Or both.

In this day and age, information is readily available for whoever wishes to access it. Appeal to ignorance is even more deplorable than it was previously.
Though there are still information that does not circulate among the general public.

Still no excuse for a veteran to not know what certain ships can or cannot do. Information's everywhere now. Not knowing where to look is the hallmark of a new pilot, but they should, in due time, know exactly where to look.

ISIS is supposed to help sort that out, though new pilots still occasionally need to be reminded that the info-tab is not window dressing.

What the devil are you talking about?
ISIS stands for The Interbus Ship Identification System, implemented earlier this year.

Arkoth 24 had been trying to push his half-baked Nanoblack thingy and when challenged about his stance, goes 'Oh, I don't care'.
You can check it out from his recent posts.

I switch between tasks very fast. It's easy when you are wearing a Galnet-connection capable headset that you can control by thinking about it and waving your arms around
No, it's not multitasking!

It seems to be some sort of nanite infestation version of Sansha's Nation with, ah, necromantic overtones? He talks about death like some form of salvation, and he does more or less look the part.
I've been trying to think what the origins might be, and, given the name, the best I've come up with is that it's a rogue prototype for high-end shoe polish.
"Tired of your footwear losing its sparkle? Try Nanoblack (TM)! Our patented self-repairing Sapientech (TM) nanite coating will keep your shoes shining for a decade, or your money back!"
... that sort of thing.
He does seem to like black leather, so....
If it's a real thing, it only seems to have the one (capsuleer) host at the moment, so if you find yourself looking at his frozen corpse, it might be a good idea to just vaporize it to be on the safe side.
If you find yourself dealing with his leather goods, it might be a good idea to vaporize those, too. |

Not in Jita or the Federation it's not. There's three other persons on this same park who is doing the same thing at this moment. Business executives on 'break-time', it looks like.

I think if I happened to acquire one of his corpses I'd have to dissect it just to see what weirdness is up with it. For science.
Though he seems to operate mostly out of Caldari lowsec, so the chances of that happening are pretty slim.

Do it in a refurbished mobile depot with at least a couple Tornadoes posted just in case.

Greetings,
I totally agree that discussions need to be civil. I share my interests in New Eden here, and tell stories of my travels.
I would like to see more of that in IGS, and more work between our various cultures. There are some projects out there that attempt to solve some of New Eden's mysteries.
The study of the ancient history of New Eden interests me, and for the most part the stories I have read seem very relevant and need more connectivity; I hope to provide some of that in my Chronicles here on IGS.
An example is the Sleeper/Drifter connection; there are a few others out there I am sure.
The stories and travels of Capsuleers in New Eden should be an integral part of IGS; besides arent we suppose to find political solutions in here !?

I prefer to stay out of politics. Politics is a messy business and I am less than qualified to comment about it, let alone get involved in it. I just go where the Isk and the thrills are.

Some people say that warfare is politics by other means. By the same token I feel, politics is just economics by other means.
I'd say that 90% of the problems in politics are rooted in economics and resource scarcity. Remove that scarcity so there truly is enough for everyone, and the drive for conflict will decrease significantly. There will still be conflict of course, based on racism, ingroup mentality, religion, moral arguments, the usual suspects once you throw out the day to day conflict drivers of "I need what you have to survive" but it would be much less.
