Any one care to post some tactical navigation quirks..?
This can also go in the Market Trading School link if it is worth to trade the info...
I also just finally some good tricks which I will try to post or trim down to keep some of the related secrets.
The thing is, I'm sure the enemies I manage to out-maneuver will figure out how I do it and inform their mates or other pirates.

Lest the secret dies with me, I will post it here before I have to hire some dead to say it.
I managed to outmaneuver multiple bubbles at the gates. Well, at least at one gate, and the gate I came from. (Which total 2 gates, depending at what time and in which chronology.)
Mind you, it doesn't work so well yet... Although it does indeed work.
It involved using the rookie ships to succeed. Since you get a free rookie ship when you get killed, although you need a low sec station or NPC station, or one that "allows" you to dock at, or "entitles" you to dock at, you can do this.
The thing is, that when you approach the deployed or deploying bubble, you make use of the ingame location bookmarking function to manage to go around it.
You then chose warp at 100 km or other coordinate to get a second bookmark. Once far enough, you move in the direction towards a far distance on the side, again to get a new bookmark, and safely warp to the gate.
It does take about 30 minutes to one hour, but with some practice, can be accomplished in less time. This works on gate camp of 3 to 6 player versus 1. I presume, from the test data gained that, it would work against 20 or more enemies. |

It just seems quicker and easier to ship into an interceptor and ignore the bubbles all together.

It sure is faster and quicker, but if the interceptor dies or is Smart Bombed, then it costs more. And there is no way to make bookmarks like the rookie ship did in the middle of battle. |

I build and sell packages of bookmarks. TheyGÇÖre mostly in nullsec, but IGÇÖve also worked-up the hisec GÇÿHighways of LoveGÇÖ collection (http://i.imgur.com/EVJfsJI.png). As a result, along with being a longtime w-space / nullsec denizen, I am fairly experienced in not getting killed while travelling through hostile space. In all the travel IGÇÖve done in recent years, I have lost: 1.One ceptor to lowsec gate smartbombers GÇô Only a few months ago. I had a perch, just did not use it; 2.One ceptor to a fast-locking gate camp GÇô A really exceptional occurrence, props to them; and 3.One ceptor and one covops to forgetting to activate the cloak and going AFK GÇô Idiot-factor prevails.
Once you have a perch bookmarked your ability to negotiate hostile gates is markedly improved GǪ but a noobship is damn slow in warp, slow when burning ongrid, and also pretty slow to align-warp after youGÇÖve jumped through the gate. A noobship also dies 99.9% of the time if thereGÇÖs a dictor waiting for you on the other side.
I canGÇÖt remember when I last used a rookie ship other than as a cyno ship. For GÇÿtaxiGÇÖ runs that do not involve jumpbridges I usually take an interceptor that is fitted out for align-warp speed and also has the ability to cloak (for when I want to go afk). For bookmark scouting and building I use either a burn-speed fit GÇÿceptor (again with a cloak) or a cheetah. If my taxi-travels are likely to include jump-bridges I often choose a blockade runner for the space-AIDS protection it provides, or just take a ceptor and wait-out the timers. A fit-out ceptor costs around 25M isk direct-from-market, less if you are able to efficiently self-build. That is not an awful of isk compared to the huge benfit it offers.
I am not alone in this. My bubble camping in hostile space sees the passage of approximately ten ceptors for each non-nullified ship. Yachts also get quite a lot of use for that purpose GǪ safe passage through my bubbles. I recently tried to smartbomb (disco-rohk) a yacht and was unhappily surprised that he got through the gate safely. Perhaps just my fail as a disco-dood but frustrating all the same.
I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder.

I mostly do trading.
By perch bookmarked , do you mean a bookmark outside of the gate to gate lane? Sometimes, it's hard to find planet or anything that is outside the lane. Then, high speed ships are required to gain the 300km or so to be out of the bubble range or bubble one. |

Never buy nullsec bookmarks from someone. It will end badly because you are most likely not the only one with those bookmarks. |

Most bookmarks have a way to warp at 100 km away from (before) them.
But yes, it would be worth a try to see if enemies would spy on them and how.
Edit: 80%+ of the time in null-sec is rookie ship proding for me. |
