Every time I've put a ticket in it was answered in great timing and with replies that sounded very personable and some thought put into them. I always found it funny when people would bash on CCP customer service because they're usually the same ones who simply made a mistake but want devs to undo it and when they don't get their way throw a tantrum on the forums. Not saying that's always the case but I do think CCP goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service and get dragged in the mud by the people that don't get what they want no matter how unreasonable it may be.

I have always found them polite and helpful, even when I have been told that they could not help (player mistake) they were understanding, and I felt they were reasonable. A great bunch of people doing a hard job well. Great work!

I remember once I couldn't connect to the server... they sent someone round to my house unplugged my modem/router left it for 30 seconds and plugged it back in..... awesome chaps-¼!!!

Support is exemplary in this game. The staff is socially ept (is that a word?) Though, immediate responses are unreasonable to expect, reasonably fast responses are generally the rule. And, I'm always happy to find an EVE support email when I check to see if anyone remembers my email address!

In my 12 years career as EvE player only one or two out of ~20 petitions was dealt in timely manner (within 48 hours).
Most of them were generic copy-paste text, even when I reported hacking attempt at my account, it took them three days to respond.
So no, support is not OH MY GOD good. Actually, out of all supports I have dealt in past, EvE support response time is worst. Not to mention half of them were copy-paste texts that showed that GM (or whoever) didnt even read my ticket.. |

I can't say anything about response times, but I have nothing to say against copy-pasta in GM responses. Sure, personal approach is always welcome, but when you deal with dozens and dozens of petitions every week, you've got to have a bunch of templates close at hand.
Petitions are also sorted by priority. The problems which prevent a player from playing the game normally get the most love from the GMs. |

Well, response time is one of the most important measures of support's quality. I dont mind getting a copy-paste response for generic matters, but explaining stuff in long, supplying proof and then getting copy-paste response that doesnt even touch the problem in matter..
Or getting response in three days when I reported (attempt only) hacking of account..
Also, definition of problems that prevent player playing a game is a loose one. I for instance cannot play without my ship if it gets destroyed by some random bug for example.
