[1] I've made my first couple attempts at resale trading and so far have a healthy profit margin but the quantity leaves a bit to be desired. I started with 100mill and spread it around the t1/named armor hardeners, t1 drone and cap recharger market. I spread across a variety of items because I can only seem to get a few of each item (except for a couple drones I'm getting a few hundred a week) even though my buy order is across the region and the highest for at least 5+ jump buy orders if not the whole region. Is this expected in the low end market or am I putting purchases in the wrong area? If I need to get into the high end market to make the better profit by lower unit sales but higher margins, about how much cash is usually needed to get into the high end market? Just curious. |

[2] Check market history to see details about daily turnover of each item. From there you can say if you are doing something wrong or not. Also open your map and check number of pilots in space and docked for your area. You should operate from some semi-hub system if you are new. About starting money, more = easier, but 100M is enough, I tried 100M start with two of my alts and both are pretty rich by now. Look for more items, there are better items than hardeners. ___________ Buying/Selling: Implants & Hardwirings Producing/BPCs: Mining Barges, BCs, Cruisers |

[3] An example of a good place to put buy orders is where there is a supply - several good agents in a system would mean that buy orders for modules dropped by the sort of rats that those agents give missions against could be filled quite quickly. |
