1) For multi-part escalations is the chance that the escalation will run to the end fairly high? (If it's only 20% chance for each part it's going to be a very low chance of making it to the end)
2) Does the signature strength requirement affect the likely/max payout? i.e. will a Vigil escalation payout higher than a Watch escalation?
3) Do low-sec escalations locate the initial parts in high-sec?
The escalations I've run so far have been quite weak in isk/hour, but are interesting. |

From my experience most escalations end before last part. However i often get some loot from many that end prematurely (sometimes even good loot).

It would make sense that it is so but i don't have much data on that since Vigils and Watches are so rare. Also best loot drops i ever got from this escalations dropped from lower ones that escalate from Lookouts. That is probably because i run way more Lookouts than Vigils and Watches.

Thats pretty much how it is, sometimes you get nothing, sometimes some worthless factions module but sometimes you get lucky and end up with several hundred million drop . |

Yeah, in my experience I've noticed that the Commander / Faction NPC's encountered in the first few stages often drop more loot than the Overseer / Boss NPC in the last stage.

From my experience, there isn't really a noticeable difference between hideout, lookout and watch escalations in terms of loot the frigates drop (just depends on whether the loot fairy rolled out of the right side of bed or not ), but with the Vigil escalation you get cruiser spawns instead of frigates which seem to drop the shiny stuff on a more regular basis... maybe that's just me.

There was a thread not so long ago about the mechanics of where escalations end up, one of the main points was that the escalation would end up in a system with either the same or lower sec status compared to the one in which you ran the initial site. Having run countless anoms since the increased escalation chance from those, I can agree with that assessment, and a few weeks ago I was messing about on the test server and decided to try and find a few low-sec un-rated's. I managed to get 2 to escalate, and both ended up in me being directed to another low-sec system. Not a huge sample size, I'll admit... however I do remember reading somewhere that for unrated sites the escalation will always be in the same 'block' of space, at least until the final part. I'll try and dig up the source at some point.
