I think it would be a fun experience and I may learn some interesting things with this psychic Q&A column. While many Nargles agree with me, there are quite a few risk adverse ones that express themselves very clearly about this. Mindful of their concerns, I shall tread as gracefully and intuitively as possible.
First a bit about me. Born a slave, I was sold and resold until the age of 16 when I was given to a wise priest. For 20 years I studied the mystic arts of my Minmatar ancestors, immersed myself in Amarrian theology and dabbled in metaphysics. Though I am a trained Amarrian Priestess, due to my blood heritage and unique perspective, my work isn't highly regarded and is sometimes shunned by my brothers and sisters. Because of this reason and the friendship we share, my mentor gifted me with immortality through capsuleer technology.
Please be aware that I will not be conducting psychic consultations, giving predictions or channeling Nargles in this format. I am simply collecting any spiritually themed questions you may have and providing short answers to the best of my abilities. My mailbox is open if you prefer, and any in-depth answers I am inspired to write will be kepted aside for a blog at a later date.
Fly wholeheartedly o7

How is your owner planning on evading the Theology Council after you just publicly admitted to him being a heretic in the eyes of the Amarr?
Or is he already openly one, so PIE and friends shouldn't get their nipples in a twist anyway?

He will soon join the Nargles in the spirit world. God will speak with him then.

Our peoples have stared extinction in the eye; but we have spat in that eye and stood to fight with valor and undying loyalty to our culture and our kin. Our struggle is as one, so let us struggle together.

Ah! Thank you.
Is it a concept related to a specific Tribe or is it from the Amarrian faith, or some blend of both?

This is very interesting. It appears that there's a plenty of mixed Amarr-Minmatar cults. I ran into a weird Sani-Sabik/traditional Brutor hybrid faith last year; it was, supposedly, practiced among the battle slaves, of all people. Most holders don't even know that such things exist, but that your holder actually sponsored you and endorsed you in this, is truly amusing.
What is the relation between God and the spirits/Nargles in your worldview?
Can one draw strength/knowledge from communicating ("channelling", as you say?) with Nargles or from being possessed by them?
Is the ability to communicate with spirits considered a gift for the few chosen, a detriment, or a random occurrence that depends on the spirit and generally is not controlled by the host? |

God is just a big Nargle. I view the interactions between the big ones and little ones as a feeding mechanism. God, for example, feeds His family His life and love and in return, they feed Him their life and love. Other groups of Nargles operate differently but the concept remains the same.
Oh no, communicating isn't a gift for the chosen few. I spent 20 years training myself to the point where interacting with Nargles seems as normal to me as a conversation with someone seems to you. In fact, I'm conversing with several while answering your question. It can be annoying at times, as there is no off switch.
Priests channel God's energy while doing God's work all the time, and the battle cries of warriors entice beserker Nargles to possess them and lend them strength.

With half a bottle of Kinnison Estate absinthe inside you, you could have achieved that in less than 20 minutes.

Priests channel God's energy while doing God's work all the time, and the battle cries of warriors entice beserker Nargles to possess them and lend them strength. Aha! Thank you for the answers. It's interesting, for the comparison, that the Sabik offshoot cult I mentioned considers their shamen (or psychics) as the chosen ones, potential ascendants, and being just possessed by a spirit (even an evil one) a lesser form of blessing and a test of one's strength.
They call such people "Lucky ones" ("ayaan" for female or "ayaanle" for male, in their dialect); the difference between the "lucky" and the "chosen" is the ability to control the spirits and gain strength from them. There are also blood sharing and sacrifices in a typical Sabik fashion, of course, with some tribal stuff overlaid on top of that.
Just to think, all this exists for centuries right under the nose of the Theology Council, and such cults evolve independently on countless slave planets. But...

Just to think, all this exists for centuries right under the nose of the Theology Council, and such cults evolve independently on countless slave planets. But... Interestingly... Theology itself grew from "Prophets" in Amarrian society. God's chosen possessed by the Holy Spirit. Capable of performing miracles. Many cultures share the same fundamental structures in their belief systems, though their descriptions may differ. After all, the colours of a rainbow are light.
