I don't do a lot of jumping with my sitter. If I move, I move with my main.
What's more important for me, is that the sitter can have all fitted modules activated. Then, the next important thing, is that the sitter can fly a cloaky cov ops or nullified T3, so it can fly to the next jump point and drop a cyno. |

Travel fits mean different things to different people.
I haven't actually travel fitted a super in years, but,
cloak warp stabs jump fuel some people do a mwd to get clear of the cyno some fit drones to kill the cyno asap.
self jumping is somewhat dangerous, scout first careful who you trust
Cov ops cyno only works for a black ops jump drive. You have to use a regular cyno, and it will be visible on overviews. If anybody warps to that cyno and catches you in a travel fit super, you're ****ed.

I suggest you steer clear of supercapitals until you understand a little more about them.
As mentioned, only Black Ops Battleships can jump or bridge to a Covert Cyno (incidentally, BLOPS can also jump/bridge to regular cynos).
As to your question, it depends on what you want from your Super Sitter. Do you want them to be able to shift the super around and eat the fatigue or do you just need a sitter to log off your super at a POS?
If you want the sitter to move the super around, then Navigation and Tanking skills along with some Engineering should be high on your priority list.
If it's just to log off in a POS, then only what's needed to actually sit in the damn coffin is all.

Fit both, but only need to online one, or maybe use a mobile depot to swap (50 m3).
There is no duration reduction though, unlike for Recons (50%). Covert: 1 minute. Regular: 10 minutes. |
