Two High Skilled/Experianced PVP Players Looking For New Home

Marsha11 Infinitus Odium	Posted - 2007.01.08 01:04:00 - [1] OK, so i never thought i would be using this part of the forums to look for a corp but lets see what happenes. Basically me and a mate of mine left our old corp due to timezone issues and joined our current corp who we just havent 'clicked' with. We play UK timezone and want some small gang specialised PVP pretty much when ever we log on which could be early, could be late or most of the time is all damn day. We have about 20mil SP each and are fully PVP spec'd. My mate has an alt with 15mil SP which can fly a command ship with maxxed gang mods. We are both pretty well off isk wise but it aint gonna last forever so some kind of ship replacement/loot sales handout/contract money share would be nice but isn't a 'must'. We dont want to be in huge gangs, dont wanna be fighting blobs, dont want to be led around by some clueless guy with the personality of a goldfish and dont wanna feel like 'grunts'. We aint pirates and dont wanna be fighting in low sec unless its against war targets or some pirate gatecamp we are busting. At the same time 0.0 is too empty and boring so long adventures into the naughty corners of EVE dont appeal either. This all basically means we are looking for a corp who has a small group of ruthless high skilled/experianced players that regularly tear around EVE without a care in the world looking for kills. If you check my corp history you will get an idea of the kinda mentality of the people we need to be flying with. No fluffy cearbears, no ransoming, no rules. We want to be able to smack people, hauler gank, grief and destroy things because it puts a big smile on our face. Anyway, Im gonna see what turns up but my hopes aren't that high to feel free to suprise me. I will check back here and get in touch with people that show some appeal. Ascent of Ages operates out of 0.0 space and is part of the R I S E alliance. Ascent of Ages generally has 15-20 members online during peak playtimes. I mean, I can understand if you'd like to just have the war decs to make it easier so you don't have to deal with sentries, but MAN is pirating fun. And we used to do empire wars all the time...so easy to turn to the dark side.

To be fair, if in order to join, i have to sit a formal interview, dont bother replying. A casual chat on TS is great, both myself and Marsha11 are easy going and like to have a laugh. Obviously you dont want people you dont get on with, which is understandable. Like i said, a casual chat is all good, and if you need to know our capabilities, give us a trial period. Having flown with Marshall all of his pvp career, and all but about a week of my own, you'd be getting two well skilled pilots(plus an almost equally skilled alt). Just a random thought i just had. Give us a home people!!!

But...we do most of our killing in the form of pirating, and then running gangs in 0.0 raiding. So my question now is: how many empire wars have you guys been in? My experience with them was one of two things happened: either you get outblobbed, or you end up camping a station for hours on end on the brink of suicide due to the boredom. First few days were awesome, don't get me wrong, when you're enemy still wants to fight...but after that it just got tedious, and we found ourselves running back to pirating and raiding in 0.0 BTW, a few hours of ratting each week not only help the wallet, but keeps the sec status happy. That with a good combined dose of killing in 0.0 and low sec, you shouldn't lose TOO much sec status. Though admittedly, a few of our guys just can't help themselves and have yet to recover the sec loss...so I dunno.
