I started working on this project a while ago: www.evetrademaster.com ETM is a simple to use, web based application that will help you visualize and understand your trading habits over several characters. Main features include:
- automated profit tracking (recognizes which items you re-sold and for what profit - multi character support (keep tracking of every character you have and how much they made between them) - ability to simulate trades between different stations and regions with real-time data (highly useful for exporters) - statistical data like graphs and tables for best items, best profit margins, buy/sell volume progress (more comming as well) - ability to automatically send you earning reports by email if desired (this will be enabled soon) - clean and aggregated views for transactions, contracts and assets
Known issues: - slow login times when multiple characters are toguether - account registration sometimes doesn't want to take in your API key (please send me a mail if this happens) - minor formating issues when graphs are into play
Planned features: - ability to import corp wallet API and integrate it with your earnings - SSO authentication - More filters for managing your assets/contracts - More graphs and statistical data - Blueprint manufacturing simulator taking into account system-wide or regional-wide prices - full IGB support (right now some javascript just doesen't work with it)
It's also free to use with no restrictions. I may open source it once I'm done with the initial release and if this gains enough momentum. User feedback is highly welcome. Remember, this is a beta and things may break at any time, a llama may fall on you and your house may catch fire at any moment. You can also donate if you wish to support this project. :)
have fun and happy trading

Eve Central has proven unreliable and inaccurate, and has been obsoleted by pulling live market data directly from CREST.

This app was made to respect CCP's cache timers, which means you typically have to wait around 30 mins before new data is available for most endpoints.
Does it refuse to update to you all the time?
@SJ Astralana
I plan on moving on to CREST after things are more polished and (if) more people start using the regional market checker. I'll probably take a look at it next month or something if that's the case. I never used Eve Central before and I expected it to be more reliable before I started this project.

Pretty new to trading and the game. I enjoy ETM and it's target helpful, but a bit of feedback: If the regional trade tool had a list of some sort that you could save, that'd be stupendous. It's a pita with any tool I've found that you've got to retype stuff every time you want to look it up to see the current trade picture. Also, the ability to perhaps add another hub would be cool. So it could show Jita, Dodixie and Hek, for example, and you could see at a glance the best place to buy and sell stuff. Overall, though, great tool! :) |

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll think about adding something to identify main trade hubs faster.
Update:
There have been a few changes in the past months:
- Automated email reports are function and expanding - Addition of grand totals and (soon) net worth evolution graph - Ability to filter/rearrange the profit history table - Performance/optimization improvements (e.g page load times). This is still an ongoing work, though - Better responsive layout for mobile devices - Small UI improvements - More accurate asset evaluation formulas
What's next to come until BETA is over: -Abiity to filter assets by region and/or other parameters -Black theme -Full IGB compatibility -Better e-mail report layout -More statistical data (feel free to suggest) -Aggregated asset/transaction/contract/orders list
After beta is over and I have a more solid platform i can start expanding with some highly requested features such as: -Ability to ignore certain transactions -Regional blueprint manufacturing -Corp API keys -CREST price fetch -Regional trader wishlists (save, load, import...)
ETM might also undergo a server upgrade in the near future. Initially I planned on moving out of beta by the end of 2015 but due to some real life time constraints development has been slow lately. I estimate this may be around mid February instead.

I just started using this today and I really like it. Gives me a very nice overview of my profit for each item and how long it takes to sell. I like that it is very simple and displays exactly the right information.
One question, how are you calculating the profit margin? It seems to be slightly higher than the profit margin I manually calculated. |

glad you find it useful.
Are you referring to each item's profit margin or the daily values you see in reports/statistics? Individual profit margins don't have much room for error (sell_price*transaction tax*broker modifier - buy_price*broker_modifier), but daily margins vary slightly depending on a few assumptions (like which day should an item 'belong' to for things bought and sold in different days).

I've been extremely busy the past few days, but I still managed to do a few changes recently:
-Profit/Statistics pages no longer take an eternity and a half to load -Some usability and layout changes aimed at mobile devices -Bugfixing with reports and strange data -More accurate asset value calculation formula -You can stay logged in indefinetly now (just bookmark the dashboard for example)
Things being worked at until beta is over:
-Shopping cart/item list for Regional Trade Assistant -Assets list sorting by Region -Net worth evolution graph -Aggregated contracts, transactions and assets -Possibly CREST implementation for price data (eve central is surprisingly doing just fine for what most people use it for right now)
I apologize for the occasional hiccups the server suffered last week. It was either me being silly and breaking things, or the server beggingg for resources while performing demanding tasks. I'm probably going to upgrade it for twice the resources soon, donations would be very welcome for this however.
You can also submit a survey (you'll see it after logging in) so you can cast a vote on what features should be prioritized.
