I think that T3 Shipping Containers would enhance the environment of Eve. First while in station the container would function like a normal container but when you were getting ready to transport the container you could have several options for loading it with cargo.
The container would have the following additional cargo space allotted.
2500 - minerals 2500 - ore 2500 - planetary interaction items 2500 - central cargo volume where anything could be stored
The container would have a password feature to it that would last for a week if a ship is destroyed. Once a week passes the password revokes itself and the contents thus able to be removed.
If not for everyday environment use then perhaps make such a container part of Missions and NPC drops where the pilot would have to purchase keys to access the locked container.
Just a random case of "whatever" thrown out there. |

We have containers in the game that can be used in this way why do we need more? https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Secure_containers
Anchored in space and password protected they are reasonably safe and even if they are destroyed what ever is in them gets blown up as well. |

Sigh.. Dryson, and only because it's black fridays I'll give you a pass and take the high road and write a small essay of what tech 3 actually means.
Since EVE ApocryphaGäó from way back when (my True Sansha ships got nerfed) the empires of New Eden faces a menace they haven't encountered ever before - Sleepers.
While that didn't sound interesting since they were "just new NPC's to shoot and loot" the story is very much interesting but why do I bring this up? To establish a motive you will have to have all background information first.
Anyway, Sleeper were a new threat that the empires in New Eden faced and what they brought was a new jump in technological advances and inventions the engineers of New Eden haven't even dreamed of.
Revers engineering some of the wreckages yielded some usable new tech that the empires used to get ahead of an arms race. For the capsuleers it let to 4 new ships with new abilites and not so new but much more advanced technology, the Legion, the Proteus, the Tengu and the minmatar did something similar too.
Those new ships also came with a new developed feature that allowed to be fit for tactical advantages, one subsystem at a time.
Not too long ago the empires met an even worse threat than ever before and they were not prepared - the Drifters.
Investigations lead scientists to technology that the Amarr would consider herecy but the since capsuleers already paid the ultimate price for advances in technology and tools for war.
I strongly believe that some of the secrets the Sleepers and Drifters have yet to reveal will lay in the past. Not the recent past but much, much longer ago, even before the collapse of the New Eden gate itself. When I get back to Todaki, I need to do some studies of the ancient texts of the Sleepers, the Talocan, the Yan Jung and the Takmahl.
Back to the topic at hand, the Sleeper may have had their conclaves but I don't think they had "tactical containers".
So, no.
Eve Minions is recruiting. Learn from about pvp, learn about ships and how to fly them correctly. Small gang and solo action in high, low and nullsec and w-space alike.
We will teach you everything you need and want to know.

Otherwise you'd see Dryson's name as OP of a thread, and automatically know you're going to be looking at a terribad idea.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.
