Was thinking about 1 pg rig and 1 +15 rep amount. Any suggestions. Pg rig to fit neutrons.

If you have problems fitting all neuts I would go for the pg one. If you got adv weapon up lv 5 I would rather go two cap rechargers instead. But that also depends if you can run your setup continuesly or not. But don't fit damage rig if you have damage modules already fitted. +15 rep would be nice if your doing blaster boat. So all in all, you need to make up your mind what your doing whit the ship before you'll get any worthwhile responds in here.

ive been toying with my setup for my astarte for a while now i wasnt sure whether to put armor recharge rigs on it also but when i looked at my speed with 1 and 2 of them on i was disgusted even with an AB on i go 371m/s with armor rigging lvl 4 with a blaster setup u need to be fast to get in range and do damage i was thinkin of 2 cap amount rigs that way u have more cap to last the battle if u become nossed

I personally like a pair of rep amount rigs, but my astarte is fubartanked anyway. With 2 of the t2 rep amount rigs, it tanks >1k DPS with just t2 ---

its got enough lows for damage mods if u do use the damage mod rigs u have to use the lows for RCU's to fit a full rack of neutrons because of the horrible power grid downside so its better to use 2 lows for damage mods and the 2 rig slots for sumthing else whether its cap amount rigs or whatever --------- -=Twisted Dreams=- Proud Member of Time Travel Enterprises |

If it's possible fit 2 for armor rep amount, if not fit 1 for amount and one for duration. The one for the amount would probably save you a lot more cap seeing shwo you wouldnt have to run it as often. Also if you stick 2 corprum a-type medium reps on there with the rigs and the rep bonus your getting, the rep amount is insanely high.
Damage mods would be good if you slapped on a full rack of Ion IIs, Better tracking, faster ROF, and less cap use. High damage multiplier with that is pretty good, you could also experiment with Heavy Electron II's as well, but personally i would go for the tanking rigs.

well, i can have 7x neutrons on my baby, with one armor rep.
So i would take repair amount and repair cycle time rig onto my astarte..u get 8.16secs on repair cycle and 506 HP per cycle. that is 62HP per second, that is 20HP increase on medium armor rep T2 without rigs or almost 48%.
every astarte should have cap injector on, so fitting a cap rig isnt a viable idea. Also, fitting a dmg rig is not smart, coz astarte already has a huge DPS.All command ships should be tanked to high heaven before dmg, coz they are meant to be used in fleets for gang assist modules, and only if u survive a large attack, u can give out this bonuses..

whit my setup i need one PG rig and then i can fit a very nice tank whit neutron blasters
other one is dmg rig

1/.85=1.1764
1 x 1.15= 1.15
.85 is the repair accelerator
1.15 is the repair booster
The accelerator is stronger by a few percent...[2.3% actualy]
Tech II versions
1/.8 =1.25
1x1.2=1.2
1.25/1.2= 1.041
The tech 2 version of the duration rep mod is 4.1% better than the repair amount mod.
The tech 1 duration is also easier on calibration[so you can fit 2 and a 300 calibration rig if you wish]than the rech 1 amount rig.
Now, it does have a hefty penalty, but if capacitor isnt an issue[complex tanking for isntance] there isnt anything better really.
E.G. a Tripple Rep complex tanking Abaddon that has cap support would fit 2 hardeners of each type[tech 2], 2 duration tech II and 1 duration tech 1.
This would give him 2400 armor every/7.344 seconds. Tanking an explosive/kin complex would have 85.91% Ex and 86.79% kin resistance. This would translate into 2319.36 DPS tanked explosive and 2473.86 DPS tanked kinetic. [EM would be 4641.84 DPS, Therm would be 2856.52]. You could achieve similar numbers with a Rokh, and if you started to use faction/deadspace/officer quality hardeners[and reppers] it would be even more ridiculous[10735.15 DPS EM tankable with another damage type using the highest quality gear].
163 cap/second use though[so after the first couple cycles you need a dedicated cap boosting battleship or logistics ship[augoror wont cut it without 2]]
So yea, they definitly have their use. When you arent concerned about cap[say, on a ship that doesnt use capacitor to shoot and the rep cap use will be lower than cap boost amount from your injectors], then they are loads better than the rep boost amount rigs. ---------------------------------------- Thou Shalt "Pew Pew" |

yes, 7x netruon t2, i dont have any ab or mwd, and only one armor rep t2..
we always hunt in gangs, so we have ceptors to catch them before they go away..
