Hey peeps
Below is my character's skillsheet, I returned to EvE around 2 months ago and started a new character and wanted to get into the covert ops side of PvP but its been over 70days of training and still not quite there with skillls but this character has not left the station within the last 2 months and I want to get out there and make some pewpew.
Could you recommend which skills I should focus on to be more competitive in solo pvp?
Currently training for t2 small guns...

You really can't go wrong by training ships and guns. Remember that the SUPPORT skills are just as important as the gun itself. Rapid firing, sharpshooter, etc. The bonus per level from all the support skills really adds up. The same concept applies to drones as well. Train most supports to IV, then get the easy ones to V. Right now, your drones are slow and weak. Same with your guns. The support skills will change all of that .
Skills only take you so far though. What you need is experience. Piloting experience AND target selection experience. Don't be afraid to lose 1 ship, or 10, or 50. Get out and find a fight, and go from there. Sometimes, the other pilot will tell you what you did wrong, or help explain what happened. Sometimes, you might find a good corp to join, and get tons of advice and experience from group PvP.
You own most of the *right* skills at this time. I recommend for you to stay focused, don't buy every skill that comes available. Train the ones you own and then only buy a skill because you NEED it to improve.
Try doing some missions? They help you learn about your ship, and they help you *feel* the improvements when you skill up. (They also generate ISK) I'm not saying you should become a full time missioner. That could impact your faction standings, and will affect where you can fly in EVE. Just an option.

You have much work to be done on your character and by saying that even with your current skills without injecting new ones.
When I look at your current attributes, the fastest skills you'll train will be the ones under "Navigation".So I'd get all of them to 4 and the lower rank ones to 5 at least.
It is wise for every character to tackle the core skills first. Then,if I were you,I'd do the gunnery support skills since they are very fast to train and very beneficial in pvp(assuming you'll stick to using turrets).
Finally,I advise you to take the armor compensation skills up one notch to level 4.
I hope this helps.
If fire doesn't solve your problem, you're not using enough.

The number one skill you need is the one which comes from getting in fights and learning how they go. The annoying part of doing this is: you probably shouldn't have implants while doing this, because you wkill lose pods, and implants can be expensive to replace. The ones you're using are about 8M apiece, which isn't too bad, but kind of defeats the point of keeping your ships cheap.
