EVE Museum is a public non-profit company and hereby proudly announces its second public share sale. EVE Museum has the function of buying, preserving and exhibiting legacy ships and artefacts.
The first share sale was in July 2015 with 1000 shares for 20 mil ISK per share. With this new share sale, 1000 more shares will be sold, while the sell price and buyback price for ALL shares is increased to 30 mil ISK per share.
CistaCista (aka Cista2) is ceo of the museum. The museum is public in the sense that all transactions are publicly known. Assets are however in my control and shareholders have no ownership over the assets.. Public api keys of both CistaCista and the corp can be seen on the webpage.
Finances of the company: please see latest financial report. The artefacts have an estimated worth of 150 bn. The total sum liabilities will now be 60 bn ISK for 2000 issued shares. Dividends have been paid out since the start in July, growing from 1.1% to 2.2% for November.
When these 1,000 shares have been sold @ 30 mil isk per share, there are still 8,000 other shares in the museum that are not on sale. Dividends are paid in the beginning of each month after the financial report from the accountant of the museum.
Send the money for shares to the EVE Museum corporation. You can buy any number between 1 and 200 shares. If you already bought shares in July, you can now buy again.
As alternative to buying shares, you can also donate money to the museum, or give the museum a loan with no interest rate.

Governing principles of EVE Museum
FAQ
If more shares are sold later, will that lessen my dividends? No.
Where does the dividend money come from? Dividend money comes exclusively from the trading profits of Cista2. Dividends and interests are not paid with money from sale of shares, nor with money from donations. Any money you send to the museum is guaranteed to go solely to purchasing artefacts.
If this is non-profit, why then sell shares and give dividends away? The goal is to get the public to feel a long term responsibility for the museum. The shareholders can block new loans, block new share sales, and decide on all changes of governance.
How are the museum assets and the money of shareholders secured? There is no security for shareholders. Only the public reputation of Cista2.
Are the trading results of Cista2 public? No
Does Cista2/CistaCista have any other unsecured liabilities? Yes, there is now 26 bn left in this public bond on Cista2. There will be no more new private bonds.
If I donGÇÖt want my shares anymore, can I get my money back? Certainly. Buyback is at 30 mil isk, but you can probably get more if selling them later. Btw shares are anonymous, so never send them to me before agreed!
When will the museum be open for visitors? ItGÇÖs open! You need to apply to the corp.
Do I get anything out of a donation? Yes! To rouse that charity spirit, a museum hall (= corp division) or museum gallery (= station container) will in fact be named after each of the donors (not shareholders). You can donate as little as 10,000 isk - money should be sent to the EVE Museum corporation. Donors can pick which museum hall they want their name on, until someone donates a larger sum.
You can also donate items, and in that case each item or ship will be tagged with the info of who made the donation.

So ive been away a while so missed the roll-out of this endeavor.
I have a observation though if you'd be so kind. Reading back through your previous threads the basic idea behind the museum is you sell shares in the corp to finance the purchase of rare items in the eve universe to players/investors for a small monthly dividend return. All items can be viewed by anybody by joining corp and viewing via trade window or whatever other method is applied, all purchase and transactions can be viewed via the API provided thereby making it a very open and honest endeavor in the eyes of investors.
In your own words, all items donated/purchased are, and always will be, the personal property of the corp ( in other word you, via your char cistacista )
So essentially what your doing is getting other people to finance the purchase of high value and rare items for your personal gain under the guise of 'anyone can totally view anything at any time so its for everybody and not for personal gain'
Whats stopping you, say in a years time, to offer the last 1000 shares for 1b each based on the reputation you've built and then closing the corp? Thereby obtaining trillions if isk and possibly many trillions more in assets at absolutely no risk to yourself, while costing peanuts in monthly dividends?
Im not sure weather to call you a genius, or all your investors complete morons for making another player ridiculously wealthy without actually realizing what they're doing. Bravo man lol

It all just doesn't really look very trustworthy ;p
Especially the fact that you decided to increase share value by 50%... seems like a cheap trick to get more people to buy shares at the increased prices (covering your losses in case previous buyers sell their shares back to you) in hopes of selling their shares during the next price increase... I dunno man, just seems very fishy to me :) |

Slow turnout so far! Fortunately, there is no time limit to the availability of the shares ;)
As to the trolling, it is incorrect that the museum cannot be visited. Anyone can visit the museum with an alt and see the items. They are locked in containers which unfortunately greys them out a bit (except for the rigged ships), but that is the price we pay for using the container system.
The other person claiming to have sent 100 bn was also a troll, as the highest acceptable amount per person is 6 bn.
Meanwhile, I forgot to state that a share was sent to EvePick3 :) |

No, its a guy using your isk to buy his collectables.
if you are lucky he will put said items in a trade window so you can "hover over" with mouse for a small fee. |

What I have chosen to do is back off from making more bonds on the Cista2 character and instead channel my current and future profits on the Cista2 character through the museum shares. That's how the museum shares pay dividends and will continue to do so.
Shares are still available, next dividend payout is beginning of January. Dividend history can be seen here.

ThemGÇÖs fighting words! And I am fully aware you have your own reputation as printer of bonds to protect (although that bond was boosted by the kind advise from yours truly ahem, just read the thread).
Fortunately this gives me the urge to post my own credentials yay I love to do that but have somehow failed to do it properly in this thread yet.
First a minor correction, the list of investors in EVE Museum is in fact around 20 at this point.
Anyways, more numbers: as Cista2 and CistaCista I have had c. 336 bn ISK invested in my wacko uncollateralised projects since 2009 (including the money I still hold), and paid out c. 340 bn ISK. The list of players that have invested uncollateralised ISK in me through the years is now well over 100. You are welcome to GÇ£convoGÇ¥ them all and see if I speak the truth.
These numbers are - in all modesty - unparallelled for an MD operator, and I can assure you that I am in no way intending to sully my legacy with any bad performance in the coming years. Your kind words are however duly noted and it will be interesting to continue our conversation, should you later decide to return with a new uncollateralised project yourself

ISK sent for 10 shares.
I've got a Vigil that has large rigs fitted, and which used to do 752 m/s on autopilot before they nerfed the hell out of stuff. Is the museum looking for these kind of items?
