We had proof that was good enough for us - if you'd care to suggest what evidence we could supply that couldn't be easily faked, we'd be glad to provide.

For those many petulant Amarrians who've been saying words to the effect of "HEY ANDREUS WHERE WERE YOU ON THE BATTLEFIELD?" you may remember in the EM War Diary that I commanded a squadron of brave freedom fighters for several hours during an exercise and the only thing I saw was Siobhan's pod. My willingness to fight is not at question - but apparently, yours is.

Being in one gang on one day...a gang that never saw combat...is not a good way to build your case, Andreus. And if you saw Siobhan's pod, obviously Siobhan saw combat. Once again your snide remarks show a blatant disregard for reality.

Edited by: Gaven Lok''ri on 21/01/2007 22:20:03 Your proof seems to have been that someone told you the convoy had republic citizens in it.
Otherwise why wouldn't you come forward with your proof, even if it could be faked.
Though It wouldn't actually change anything, as if you had such proof the lawful and peaceful action would have been to use diplomatic channels, along with said proof, to obtain the supposed citizens release without committing acts of war against the Amarrian Empire.
But as your only proof was hearsay you couldn't follow that path because your proof wouldn't hold up against any lawful investigation, and being the true 'freedom fighter' terrorists that you have proven yourselves to be... you invaded Amarrian territory with the intent to sow destruction amongst the loyal people of God due to this 'proof'.

Why all this beating around the bush?
PIE are fat b*****ds trying to stay fat by bullishly pushing for diplomatic solutions to the current crisis to the slave trade within Amarr space. As much as they would like Matari blood, they will be forced to pay for it.
As for the freedom fighters, you know in your hearts you must do all that is necessary to stop this barbaric practice throughout the universe irrespective of national borders.
At least you can thank your lucky stars that Amarr starship engineering is not as sharp as their tongues...
"Hmmm now what shall I fit? I know, a ridiculous armor tank and a full rack of lasers... they'll never see it coming!"
I'd be careful if I were you though, you've only got 10 years before their golden fleet gets to you! Oh never mind, I see you already got safe...

Ummm...have you even been paying attention? PIE rather aggressively pushed for this war after the acts of terror committed by forces of Electus Matari. They spun up into decisively violent action very quickly to respond to a direct threat to legal Amarr trade.
Not exactly a push for a diplomatic solution...

Oh, that's rich, a Gallemarr (yes, that's a portmanteau of Gallente and Amarr, for those Amarrians with small brains watching) preaching about reality.
And pointing to the fact that I did not see any combat while squad commander in a fleet full of people that PIE, CVA, 1PG and VV have declared terrorists (and the PIE list now includes myself, I am incredibly proud to say) in full view of all of these organisations, after that same squad destroyed one of their members, and another fled so fast that he was always two jumps ahead of our scout suggests that there is some unwillingness to fight among said organisations. Unwillingness to fight is also known as "cowardice", if you'd care to check a dictionary - many are available on GalNet.
Either that or I just had the bad luck to join the gang on a day when only cowards were active.

So wait....your proud of leading a gang on a single day....and say that one of our cowards is coward from retreating from a hostile blob....ok if you have a sense of bravery like this please, feel free to stop by around misaba area to show your bravery....or maybe you will run as well.
I also find it rich you leading a gang, where the gang commander (being you) isnt actually a war target to the enemy. Now whats more cowardly, retreating from superior numbers or leading a fight in a situation your not going to be shot at even if you come across enemies....
Please feel free to come look me up if you are feeling "brave". Many CVA pilots will be willing to test this bravery of yours, as well as VV and PIE if im not mistaken, in low sec empire space...as fighting you in high sec as you are too "brave" to declare war.

Sorry did we miss you?
I can assure you that when -VV- pilots come across an enemy group we are always keen to help remove depraved terrorist pods from their heathen hulls with great haste.
I am sure that had you shown yourself to be an enemy in space, rather than beating your brave little chest on this thread, then PIE and CVA would also have been more than happy to send you for a (hopefully improved) upgrade in the clone vats.

If you want facts, I'll quote you an interesting fact: the CVA killed 6 Electus Matari ships for every one of ours lost. If you want facts, Siobhan's pod is plain evidence of our pilots engaging in combat. If you want facts, your name is not present on the destruction of a single paramilitary vessel.
If you want to make pointless jibes, then I can rebut with a complete lack of evidence to your presence in any combat gang what-so-ever...as if your mere presence were noteworthy to begin with.
And if you want to question my bravery, you can give me a location where I can meet you and we can sort out what's what.

Oh ho! It has joined Electus Matari. Now it can prove it's worth by actually looking for targets rather than parading a gang through Molden Heath and claiming victory for meeting no resistance. It might have a leg to stand upon then.
Now recruiting!

Please gentlemen let us remain civil. Pie Inc, the lions of the Amarr Empire, fight with honour and though they are few in number, they are wily beasts that are worthy of respect and our enmity. Having fought against Solusar of CVA, I can honestly say that I do not fear the Amarrians, but I do fear their arbitrator hull vessels.
Whilst the number of Pie pilots in their pods can be frustratingly small and their threat to us doubly so, have faith that the future will bring ever more interesting challenges. To the flyboys of the Phoenix Wing I say let our blasters and drones stand witness to the commitment of our pilots and add no further words to this thread.

One would think that someone so closely allied with the Star Fraction would have more faith in the power of optimism and human potential.
Those he has attacked on IGS have repeatedly exhorted him to put his money where his mouth is. Even those whos side he appears to be on have done so, if usually less loudly. He has proceeded to do so. I, personally, wish him luck in finally proving himself.
One way or the other.

Regards,
You have a point, but i have beena round since the start of this Pod program and i can tell most of the times when a waste of skin shows himself.
if i am proven wrong i'll certainly admit it. I would rejoice in someone going from a mouth to a pistol even if they were my enemy. but my hope is small in this creatures case.
and what does Star Fraction have to do with optimism about mewling skin sacks? last time i checked they shot them down just like i tend to do. Just like the pilots of PIE will be doing to him shortly...if he even goes out and risks himself.

Well, now that I've started doing ops, my not fighting enemies can no longer be blamed on me not being in the line of fire. However, I have to admit that last night was a bit one-sided - if I was Udyr, I wouldn't have left Pend Insurance either, especially since there were 10 ships waiting for him. But then again, that was two hours or so that he wasn't harassing Republic citizens or ferrying slaves, so I guess it's worth it in the end.
