It started earlier today and has persisted on through out my day. I have terrible in game lag spikes , to the point where I disconnect from the server every few minutes. The lag and disconnects come usually when an area first loads, or I load new information on my screen, like the market information or my a chat winder (like jita local). I have been on and off voice comunications while this is all occuring (TS and skype) and I am not having any issues except in Eve.
I am wondering if anyone is experiencing these same problems or if anyone knows how this problem might be corrected on my end. |

It has for me. I doesn't seem to be any particular thing I do. I've been kicked while trying to select my toon after login, doing missions, searching on the Market, etc.. This is in US (EST) |

yeah, thats the kind of issues Ive been having. I opened the performance window (ctrl+alt+shift+m) and I have alot of errors in game that are "ball" errors. Dunno what that means, but when I get alot of those, I then disconnect. |

Have you done a traceroute?
n Windows, select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. This will give you a window..
Enter the word tracert, followed by a space, then the domain name.
I believe the server is: 87.237.38.200
This will show each hop to EVE and hopefully show where the issue is. |

Same problem. US (CST) Alabama Two others in corp, one with a completely different ISP, have had the same problem tonight (over the last ~4 hours at least).
No problems over the last few weeks.
Edit: I changed connections from wireless to ethernet and still have the same problem. |

I'm in EST US and having no issues on my end.
I did have these issues when I was on a wireless network, but on an ethernet connection I have no issues. |

Same here! US EST - Verizon provider.
No reported issues locally says my ISP...
Disconnect and sunday Jita type lag everywhere. Every few minutes, connection loss w a CTD/Restart.
What's crushing the US internet? EVE - is this on your end?

Verizon FIOS for my ISP.
I have another toon logged on the same machine that is just sitting in dock and has not been kicked for a while. He has been kicked when doing various activities.
Got the following message box while trying to select my toon and entering a station before the client restarted:
Connection Lost
The transport has not yet been connected, or authentication was not successful.

I am also suffering from very very frequent disconnects that I have isolated to eve. I lost a thorax due to it taking me multiple tries to warp across systems, rubber banding back, and client side crashes. The UI becomes unresponsive just before a crash. Ironically, when I petitioned it, clicking the petition button almost caused a crash. |

I think a lot of this is simply that US tier 2 and tier 3 providers are terrible and getting worse everyday.

Clicking petition for me almost triggered a crash as well - I have also isolated the problem to EVE
Ultima Online, Basic internet browsing, even mid size download (w/o eve running obv) - no issues. Eve, there's an issue.
I think my petition got in before my most recent crash. EVE, what's going on?

Also getting disconnects quite randomly, just automatically reboots the client. Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either. |

EDIT: I am in Ca. (USA)
I had this problem over the summer. It turned out to be the fact that I had a Docsis 2 cable modem and my area was running Docsis 3, but Comcast never upgraded my modem. Once they brought me a new modem everything has been solid. I was getting very minor, intermittent packet loss that most programs would handle no problem, EVE is rather touchy about packet loss.
To test, get pingplotter and run a trace to TQ, let it run for some hours, if you have packet loss throughout the route, then it's you, if it's only up near TQ, then it's them. http://youtu.be/yytbDZrw1jc |

i had the same **** a while back realy annoying and i only had it in eve. realy exact same issue. after all it was a hub in my case i replaced it for a router and problem was solved. before that all went ok but eve i was like disco`d like 5 to 8 times in an evening
i cant seem to find my old topic its from a few months back.
what i remember is that Eve is real picky in the connection a small drop will not be noticed in a teamspeak conversation but wil drop your eve connection.
what is essential is how your connection is from modem to PC give us a good situation. and if possible try a direct connection with an cable from modem directly to your PC |
