Quote:Intel were notified of this over a year ago but it seems they have not managed to update the drivers in order to solve the issue. Our developers have done all they can without compromising stability and compatibility towards other graphics cards.
While a large part of me wishes and hopes they are going to fix this, there is a small part of me that doesn't believe there's enough of us with this issue for anything to be done about it. |

Fraa Rafa wrote:This is the latest response I have from my petition in regards to what happened to between Crucible 1.0 and 1.2, and why it seemed to be fixed in 1.0 and then unfixed in 1.2. Quote:There have been problems with the Intel graphics cards for over a year, it's only affected some Intel users before but after the UI changes made in Crucible Intel graphics card seemed to work better. Unfortunately that was caused by a bug which plagued all nVidia and ATI graphics cards, after the bug had been fixed the former problems arose with Intel again. I truly am sorry but we can regrettably not fix the issue, the ball is with Intel at this point This was written by senior GM Retrofire. From this I conclude, that CCP in fact fixed the Intell issue, but took the fix/bug away when nVidia and ATI users experienced problems.
Financially, there are probably more nVidia and ATI users in EVE than Intel. |

IMO; I don't think it's an Intel issue... It's a CCP issue...
If I join a game and it works fine, and the developers issue an upgrade, and then it doesn't work any longer... it's not the hardware's fault... It's the game designers...
CCP has done this before... I like EVE... I played it before for almost 3 years... Got bored went to some other games... Decided to come back and see what had changed...
It's a good game, with lots of good players... But at this point I will not be renewing my subscription...
Still having problems myself. It'd be nice to get an update on the situation. |

It seems the recent patch fixed the issue for me.
Thanks for sticking with it, Vertex. |

Targ Thiesant wrote:The recent patch have not fixed my problem entirely.. When i logged into the Tranquility servers, i was actually able to start the EVE client with recieving any crashing notifications.. I was also able to log on to EVE.. even undicking a station didn't come up with any crashing issues.. I then travelled 9 jumps.. first three were without any problems at all.. then it all started again..
I take back my previous statement as this too happened to me. It started crashing again. |
