Hello Summit!
As stated, I'm a cutesy Guristas science person, and I'm in need of a test subject for a dubiously unethical yet perfectly safe science project!
After a really, really, really long period of scientific retrospection, I've finally hit the pinnacle of my research, but I've hit a snag. I have no one to test my super duper science on! Which is both sad and terrible, since I used to have Mister Borkstar for that but he went on to become a Jove hybrid monstrosity thing with the research he stole from me, which is also terrible in itself by the way! That bastard!
And I don't feel like asking Mister Nauplius for slaves to experiment on, since that irks most people. For some reason.
Project Papillon Heart is the culmination of years of research in genetic hybridization, cybernetics. psycho-dynamics and infomorph manipulation, and follows both the advancements made by Project Heart Ribbon and Project Monarch Wing in recent time. Its purpose is to produce the ultimate soldier that will make the Templar look underwhelming in comparison!
A protoype blank clone is ready to receive an infomorph upload and most of the tests will be preformed to ensure compatibility with the experimental technology. After that step is complete, more tests will be required to streamline the upload process and integrate the implants and cybernetics seamlessly. This will be a very painful process and pain suppressors will be dispensed sparingly! No seriously, it hurts like heck, I've tested it myself. It's like being pricked with needles everywhere! Even in places you didn't know they exist! Do not recommend!
The ideal candidate needs to be a capsuleer, with no wrinkles or crow's feet, and can't have gone through cloning procedures for more than three times! This is essential for my testings and experiments that require a ppQ of at least 0.800 points! Hand-to-hand combat experience, long standing military service and undying loyalty to just causes (that can and will be subverted by mental reconditioning) are pluses that will ensure your selection to the project! No background check will be required!
As for payment, I can't offer an ISK reward for this service since I'm super space poor, but I do have corporate arrangements with several cloning agencies that make up for that! The lucky candidate I experiment on will be able to keep their physical and mental augmentations free of charge, and those can be included in future cloning contracts they celebrate! Ain't that convenient? Also, if you lose your body afterwards, make arrangements with your would be killer so he can give your corpse back. Those implants are expensive you know!
Candidates can and should express interest bellow so we can discuss the arrangements.
Thank you in advance!
Disclaimer: There's the slight probability the experiments will make you crazy. Crazy smart that is! |

At first we had an idea to offer you a necris soldier as a volunteer. It feels no pain, it's perfectly strong and it can't die. For a reason.
But then we realized that you probably could not resist from desire to examine Nanoblack host and Nanoblack itself if you could put your itchy hands on it. Effects may be quite unpredictable. |

Many scientific breakthroughs and stroke of genius were followed by those exact words!
And Mister Anslo is dumb. He's not getting anywhere near my research! |

How many empyrean military personnel with a powerful desire of will to preserve their nation or cause do you really expect to find that meet those particularly intriguing criteria?
If you do find one do let me know the results of your.... 'research'. |

You really are New Eden's most adorable scientist...
Out of sheer curiousity why do you want to make New Eden's newest 'perfect soldier'? |

Because everyone and their mother in the Guristas R&D Division is making one and I want to get in on that action!
This is supposed to be a secret but the whole "ultimate soldier" thing is a sham. What I'm actually trying to test is a mind control viral infomorph that takes over the host and transforms him into a loyal Guristas agent in a jacked cybernetic body. You know, kinda what Mister Borkstar did, only better, more effective and side effect free!
But that's super classified, so don't go around talk about this to anyone, okay?!

Why back in my pre-capsuleer day we used to run laps around the length of the Typhoon-class battleship...

Heh I wanted to work on ships to AVOID the joys I got a taste of in the RMS, flying a ship thankfully involves floating in the goo instead of running around a ship. As far as staying in shape, lets be honest.... I'm a tackle pilot mainly, why stay in shape if the inevitable is going to reset me back into shape for me? Only thing that changes is my facial tattoos depending on how I'm feeling when I get my image captured. |

How terrible it must be, to be immortal yet not being able to grasp the the universe outside the perspective of a capsule. Is your body so shriveled you have to use auxiliaries to preform mundane tasks?

bla-bla-bla No. Just because everyone, who had ever left the dock, had some ships lost or destroyed. The fact you have no public kill records means that you just never left the dock.

Pathetic is the ad hominem arguments I have to suffer daily from the likes of you. And the meta-level use of information used to support said arguments.

Also not every one of my exploits have a a battle report associated with them (joys of flying logistics). Not having a combat record doesn't mean she's NEVER done anything, just that it's less likely... |

Looks rather interesting and intriguing, however there are a couple point that concern me heck a lot.
1) It is gurista research. From my previously "normal" life without being a capsule pet I was marine. There weren't war with Gallente yet and most of the time we were fighting just guristas. I have seen them enough and what filthy and disgusting things they do to themselves and their captives. Not as terrible as gallentes, of course, but way closer to gallente than to Caldari. No way I am giving my body to them.
2) If it means consciouseness transfer to the new clone, it does mean... yea. Death. Death and birth of a new clone. No, thanks. I don't want to die for science. I'd better die in a combat with weapon in my hand. Or in my capsule, since it is... like a mini-tank. Could that be operation on a working body I could consider, but otherwise... duh. I heard that on consciouseness transfer previous bodies are destroyed and biomassed to create new clones, implants are extracted and built into fresh clone, so when you jump in your previous clone thinking it will be still "alive" - nope. It isn't. It is new life form.
Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

Personally I found that the act of sticking a knife between someones ribs or being cut in half by a MH-82 heavy machine gun offered a poor frame of reference when I came to measuring my mortality. After the thousandth death or so it really only serve to highlight how inhuman I had become.

Truth be told I have a great many of unpaid debts to more than a few Guristas that I have encountered in the last several years, and I was somewhat hoping that perhaps my participation might make at least some of those go away. Not to mention all the potential advancements that might present themselves given the opportunity to work with a Guristas scientist on cybernetic enhancements and psychological reconditioning. While I could never conduct research of this sort at the engineering labs of the War Academy, I could bring whatever we discover back with me to Providence for further research.
Besides, life in the State has been agony as of late. While I will never completely abandon my duty to the Caldari, it would be more than a relief to alleviate some of my existing anxiety and guilt that leaves me tied to my empire at the expense of my personal growth as a capsuleer.
Overall I'd say I'm cautiously optimistic about such an opportunity, even if an airhead pirate kakku will be administering needle-like sensations from everything from my toes to my taint. What could possibly go wrong?
