Afterwards, please give us the new data and graphics, and update the item database (these should all be scripted so that it is just a process to kick off...it surely can't be that hard to automate the process).

What was the reasoning behind removing Jita-Kisogo?
Why not remove Jita-Maurasi and hook that dead-end set of 8 stars to another lower traffic system (like Kisogo / Shihuken / Poinen / Otala / Josameto)? Or remove Maurasi-Itamo?

What was the reasoning to remove the asteroid belts from some of those systems completely? It basically ruined a personal home base hub that my friends and I shared as a few of us are learning the different aspects of the game.
I know my post means nothing to the devs or 99% of the other players, and that posting won't even get a reply or a second thought, but I personally don't see any point for a change like that when there was nothing wrong to begin with. Its frustrating that now we have to go find a new area to learn in that can be central for all of us.

Quote: Freighters now have a sensor strength attribute to counter target jamming modules.
Eh? What was this for? Even if a freighter targets you he can't do anything (except perhaps stopping you from cloaking...). -----------------------------------------------------

, and the Recon ship prices are already shooting up. Good for the Recon ship producers, as there was hardly any profit in them since this bug had gimped them so badly.

Ava,
Implimenting changes to the game are never easy to make, especially when they have an impact on players such as this one will. However, there are some systems that create larger issues for the rest of the EVE community. Jita itself has become synonymous with lag, especially on a Sunday during our peak hours.
Removing agents and belts from these hub systems is one step among many designed to improve the playability of EVE for the entire community. Unfortunately, there are small groups like yours that will be affected by changes like this, but as Oveur once stated in a forum post in response to a nastier version of a post like yours, "There are 4,999 systems out there to mine in. Not everyone needs to mine in Jita."
Remember, part of EVE is exploration, take a look around. You might find one that suits your tastes better.

IBDS!!!!! First time!
Other than that, I'h happy with all the changes that will be implimented. I thought that some of the fixes (ie email bug) might have been hotfixed instead of waiting for a new build, but so long as it is getting fixed, it's all good.
Good work CCP -----------------------------------------------

Is rig manufacturing going to be fixed so that Production Efficiency actually has a consistent effect?
Right now, you can get 0% waste just with researched blueprints, with 0 Production Effeciency skills - but only for SOME of the rig components. _____ Lifewire is a big, ugly, mean... carebear. |

Well for the most part I like the looks of the changes with one glaring exception.
Quote: Fighters in space now return to their drone bay if the Carrier / Mothership pilot exits the game and there is sufficient drone bay capacity.
This bothers me on two levels.
1. It favors log off tactics by further eliminating any real financial loss.
2. It favors RICH loggers over poorer ones. Come on, if you are going to make it easier for ppl to use logging tactics then don't discriminate. What if I get dropped in my Nano-Nos-Domi. I should be able to log back in to find all my drones automatically returned too.

1. Nothing about INVENTION?! After that long blog from TomB I really thought there is a revamp coming?
What happened?
2. For Exploration, we now get a greater chance at getting nothing! What happened to the drops of the hard plexes? I gather that you have to fight you way through a 20/10 plex to get to an empty can and MAYBE (although greater chance now) the trigger to attend to ANOTHER plex 20 jumps into some hostile territory?
I am correct with the above assumption?

Will we be able to move after creating a cyno field with our force recon provided we have the cov-ops cloak? I really don't see much of a point if you are going to deploy a cyno and cloak if you still can't move. You're pretty much dead if anyone with a brain warps to a cyno and you have your cloak on.
Except now your dead, and you lost a 80m ISK cloak.
Please tell me that cyno peoples will be able to deploy the cyno and move away.

Oh crud. Now everyone will be going urlen - perimeter - jita. That used to be a GREAT way to avoid the gate camps. Same distance but not on the autopilot. DANG YOU!!! But I have to agree, having everyone going between the south and jita transitting the Caldari starter system was not a good idea.
As for the other link changes, think of all the buy orders that will have to change! WOW!
I also like the belt changes!

This change now means that I have to go over 10 jumps each way to grab skills from where I am based out of.
A weak minded person would whine about this change, while a stong minded person would see a market opportunity.

Actually there is something about invention....
Originally by: Manufacturing Section of Patch Notes Data Interface BPC and Data Interface Material drops have been increased.
It looks like CCP want to see what effect having more interfaces has on the market before messing with Datacore cost or success rates. Maybe it will be a late addition to the patch notes.

I have a strong feeling this was implemented for the following change:
It is now possible to find freighters with scan probes.
If you don't have a sensor attribute, a probe can't battle against your sensor strength to find ya.

While I wouldn't mind that this would happen to drones, too, I can understand why it happens to carriers.
AFAIK, when a carrier crashes his fighters do the emergency warp with him. Once the carrier logs out they become inactive at his temporary SS. When he logs in again he automaticalyl warps back to his previous location - but hisfights stay where they are at the random SS. So, unless he bookmarked the spot as soon as he logged in he has to probe for his fighters to get them back.
Drones do not have this problem - although often get destroyed till the droneboat can scoop them again.

I'm missing the logoff exploit fix.
I would assume that it's become rather obvious that this is an exploit causing some disturbance amongst players. I'd expect CCP to act accordingly, especially seeing how long it's already been ignored, and implement at the very least something to reduce it's use while a permanent fix is being constructed.
I don't know, maybe an increased logoff timer outside of aggression to maybe an actual 3 or so minutes ?

The undock point of the 'Gallente 1' Station Type 'Gallente 1' has been moved to reduce collisions with the station.
So hopefully that means the Conquerable Station version of it will be changed too?

Um... What? Having fighters return to you is not an incentive to log off, it's a solution to billions of fighters being lost per day due to legitimate connection issues. If you log off in a carrier to return your fighters, you're stupid because you can tell them to return to you at any given point, and they will do so without issue. When your Nano-Nos-Domi launches drones that cost 20m each, we'll talk. --------------
