I was wondering if anyone had compared these two on Freighters. Assuming I am manually warping and travelling 10, 20 or 30+ systems, what would be the best all-around combo for optimal speed?
- Istabs have stacking penalties, so 3x istabs is probably slower all-around than 2x istabs + 1x WA. - The first Istab saves 7.2 secs every system.

You'll spend more time doing it than you would save (unless a program out there exists)... but you could plot out the distance of each warp to calculate the the savings there. The hard part is the istab will give you a fixed reduction in time, increased warp speed is going to be variable. |

I don't have a specific route in mind, just on average. I was wondering if someone tested these and found out say... 3x WA are a better choice for speed 90% of the time or something.
My gut feeling tells me it's either going to be 1x istab + 2x WA or 2x istab + 1x WA that is the best combo for all-around longer travel using Freighters. |

The only thing that should be in the low slots of a freighter in hisec is 3X Reinforced Bulkheads II.
That being said, when my jump freighter is moving around between my POSes in the same system, I fit 3 x Intertial Stab II on it to make intra-system movement as fast as possible. |

One should not fly a freighter without a webbing alt, that being said, the choice between the two is obvious.

Okay, then how about implants? Acendancy or nomad? Or even slave for tank? And are the slave implants worth it on non-providence freighters? |

my main concern with a warp speed freighter is that you are going to get ahead of the webbing alt as it gets slowed down by 1mn aggression timers.
anyways I don't worry about it too much, let red frog, or hell, public courier runners worry about it.

If your freighter gets caught, it's very likely your not getting away. So a Slave set is pointless, that and your main HP is going to be in hull regardless.
I tend to see more Nomad implants on Freighters, though I don't all myself. But if you have a webber which you probably should have the ascendancy would probably be better. But again I only haul for myself and when I do, it's during the slower times.

You only need the web ship for a handful of systems really and in those you can make use of clever safe spots.

To repeat and clarify what others have said already, if you are using insta-webber, you don't need align time bonuses, meaning that you're better off with anything that isn't nomads or istabs. At least you won't need both and/or full rack of those.

Slaves + A-Type Adaptive Nano Plating give about 440K EHP
Reinforced Bulkhead II is about 340K EHP
