3 points.
Firstly, I am the greatest Sani Sabik IGS poster, whose posting is something lesser believers can only hope to emulate.
Secondly, you're supposed to wait for Admiral Blake to say something like "See, even a Blooder disapproves", or something equally pompous, before issuing the denial.
Thirdly,
Fourthly, since when has the Truth ever stopped people posting commentary on the IGS ?

I am aware of no such time, darling.
Tangentially, in last night's "taking it to Providence" raid, although I have not to this point shot at a transport, well, I did in fact shoot at a transport. However, it exploded prior to my small zot zots being able to zot. It was not a bomber transport, neither was it in Hek. I did manage to actually hit a Hulk before it blew up. I suppose that is a transport of a different flavor.
I'm not sure if this is "terrorism" or "guerrilla" or "special teams" - but in any event, everyone born here deserves to die for the sin of their ancestors coming to this Cluster in the first place. It is very convenient being an Amarrian terrorist.
I missed the war zone activity by about an hour, which saddens me. That said, something tells me the war zone isn't going away any time soon. |

My feelings?
My feeling is that those Shakorites who condemned the whole 24IC for sheltering blooders but are now cheering for blooders in the TLF are displaying at least 700 milliconstantines of hypocrisy.

Ow. That actually hit.

There is no sheltering, far as I know. It's just 'Go kill so and so, then we give you LP'.
A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

This is how it works, certainly not an ideologically pure system, and most reasonable alliances take advantage of said system rather than spending lots of energy decrying the reality.
It only really became notable on the Amarr side because of the participation in the succession trials, and then it is really more of internal Amarrian politics than militia politics. Kalo kills lots of Amarrians but, I doubt they are gonna give her a seat on the Republic Parliment and if they did, it would certainly constitute news. |

I would be one of the better diplomats within the cluster Val. We both know I can take out the trash by soft reason or a big stick, and have those I train return home with a smile. The militia can like it or not, but our nullsec fleets are the best thing for them and our efforts have helped more new Tribal pilots learn about combat than most minmil alliances combined. Mostly, because we don't run from uncertainty instead, 2lc challenge it and ourselves in leadership roles. |

I do not at all put down the idea that you do no actually have to cater to everyone, but just doing your thing and not giving a damn what everyone thinks is enough. Been there, done that.
However, posing yourself as "one of the better diplomats" and in the next sentence stooping to thinly veiled trashtalk is funny. And not at all necessary for you to do things differently.
Then again, maybe that tells more about the other diplomats in the cluster than yourself.

"Diplomat", in the modern era, simply means the person who is designated to yell at, or be yelled at by, other corporations or alliances.
Skills such as politeness, or knowing when to say things, or when not to say things, are a bonus, but not strictly necessary for the role.
Hurr.

Correct.
However, the boast here was that the person speaking was "one of the better diplomats within the cluster", so it is not maybe unreasonable to expect skill.
Diplomacy is not about being nice, either. But it is about knowing when insulting someone is useful, and when it is not.

i think the style of negotiation that invovles telling pilots to kill other pilots certainly has merit and in this style of diplomacy Kalo Askold is certainly well versed. It probably isn't the best strategy to employ in some circumstances but so far the negotiations with Providence seem to be going very well. |

Taking a hammer to a nut is definatly one way to achieve one's aims. But when your aims aren't even clear, sometimes I wonder what you're so worried about the nut for.
You say negotiations with Providence are going well. I assume by that you're saying you're having a great time shooting at our residents. But what are your aims? Using the loot for your SRP programme, getting vital experiance in combat? Those are noble goals for sure.
Allowing a sadistic monster to indulge in behaviour that will likely mean a never ending conflict between our peoples till we're all either dead or mad? That's less noble. Tell me, Valentina, do you let Kalo and Funk bleed their victims. Do you allow them to conduct rituals that involve torture? If so, I can only assume you allow it because "they're Amarr". Well, hate to break it to you but a lot of crews of ships don't give a damn about the Empire. They're not flying with us for our politics but our money. Sure you can justify they're helping the system, but as I said elsewhere in this thread there's plenty of opponants within Providence to the Empire and Operation Deliverance.
By allowing a few to go out of their way to do terrible things to us just further perpetuates a cycle. You take offense at how slaves are treated, and allow a blooder to do the dirty. We take offense you're allowing such things to happen, and we retaliate. Have you seen some of the things the Sabik do? I mean actually seen some of the stuff these monsters get up to? Even the ones that look docile will make you sick to your stomach, perhaps more so. I can send you some footage if you like.
You're playing with Fire and Death Valentina. They're not tools, at the core of Sabikism is empowerment of the self. I would hope and pray to God you don't get burned by the charges you happily unleash, but I'm all out of concern for you when you broke a good friend's heart. I could have respected you as an honourable opponant, now? Now I just feel a deep sense of pity.

What kind of absolute load of waffle is this? You think we've somehow cracked the code to break CONCORD restrictions on targetting civilians? That somehow we can perform orbital strikes on Minmatar planets???

When you're desperately trying to invent an end that justifies the means, the first step is to attribute the enemy with means and acts that are proportional. When PIE wants to pretend they have to fly with Blooders, they try to make it seem necessary by inventing a narrative where the TLF somehow manage to ravage planets or whatever else none of us can do. When these people want to justify the same, well... they went even further.
This shouldn't be a surprise, as it's been the standard tool for those with... unsavory associations they need to justify, for some time now.
I have no problem whatsoever seeing them do whatever they want in Providence, but it's just so silly to see all the mental acrobatics in play trying to make it something other than what it is. It's an odd thing to see this pathological need to appear justified and in the right while using any means they desire, without the slightest hint of honesty in it. |
