Well wasnt that fast. Dont worry though. AMAX loves you enough to continue hunting you for all time, even with a smaller alliance roster. I can tell you why there is a huge membership drop. Its because the alliance is led by a scheming selfish, dictator, who gets his own peoples carriers swatted like flies, and has very little command ability other than *****ing and yelling.
The reality is that the alliance is run by two selfish people who only seek their own glory and wealth. Borntokill and Exzodier. And I am gonna come for you one day. And hell is coming with me.

Edited by: Nobler on 30/01/2007 18:24:13 Oh how do I respond to this thread. I feel like I have so much to do with this!
TSDS had a home, where all of it's resources where located. TSDS had a very good industrial backbone and had become a self sustaining entity. Unfortunately the leader(s) got bored and just wanted to go blow something up. We all know the real reason-- the leader(s) wanted a mothership. And this is what it's all about. TSBS/TSDS is what a select few group of people want, with no regards to what anyone else wants. If TSBS can loose six carriers in one op, I wonder how long it will take them to loose a mothership or two. Remember those things can't be insured.
I do feel like my Alliance mail was taken to heart by a lot of CEOs in the corps in the Alliance. After the chaos really started to spread everyone saw what was going on, and they knew it was time to get out before they lost all their isk, ships, and mods. Granted it's worth loosing ships and mods, if you accomplish something other than biomassing to empire to rebuild.
I guess now I will only be the target of a corporation instead of a whole alliance. Best of luck TSBS, we had fun while we rolled with you, but the insanity just got to insane for us to stay.
Good Luck and high scores.
Regards, Nobler

It's actually quite funny, no matter what you do there are always detractors, if we stay in stain, you get people saying why dont you try and claim sovereignty, and if you want to try something new and go for an adventure, especially up north as I have never been up north, you get the naysayers saying we have a perfectly good home in stain. You cannot please all the people all the time. As for the truth, a scandal is more easily believed than the truth, so why bother.
As for Amax, I would prefer to play for wealth and glory than spite and hate any day. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Make everyone happy? For the most part everyone was happy till a FEW people got a big YARR bone and decided to FORCE 1300 people to go with them... No scandal here. This is what happens when you dissolve the alliance council and turn the alliance into a dictatorship overnight.

ItĘs nice to see so many people taking an interest in what we are doing- but it is a shame to see that all the people we kicked from the alliance before we moved crying These people didnĘt want to listen to anything that was said and pretty much never joined in on ops and pretty much never did anything for the alliance anyway
As for all this being for the benefit of 1 or 2 people its not, this action was decided on after much discussion by the senior members of TSBS and as TSBS created the alliance we decided that we were going to be the last people in it. It has been decided that it is best to move on from the 0.0 region of stain and find a better place to live
and as for losing ships and information on kill boards people need to relies that you donĘt real lose anything in eve as long as u have the isk to replace it and have fun losing it, IT DOSENT MATTER

I'm not going to comment on previous internal politics of TSDS, or what happened, or why. TSDS is dead. Stop kicking it and let it lie.
There are a couple of pilots who earned my respect in TSDS while I was in it. I'd like to wish them well:
CarnalPleasure - You are the wisest man in TSDS. Period. I learned a great deal from you in the OP's, and have nothing but respect for you. Good luck.
KingPeach - NEVER a dull moment on comms. Always a good time. I hope you do well also.
To the rest of the bus.... meh. Have fun where ever you end up.

1) Yes DoF were kicked, apparently for talking to someone else that had been kicked. Seems fair! 2) The reason some of us never went on ops is because there was no confidence in the leadership, rightly so, we kept getting killed with crappy fc'ing. 3) Its right that TSBS should be the only ones left, they were obviously the only ones that mattered in the first place. Why have lots of corps in your alliance if you dont take any of them into account?
Everybody knows what happened, theres no point lying. TSDS became a dictorship, BTK got control. But oh no, BTK couldnt control all the other corps as they had CEOs. So you get rid of all the other corps, and therfore CEOs, and make one megacorp with one CEO, BTK, who can have all the control he likes. Sounds like a great idea! Or so it would seem.

Wow. Its amazing what a week can do. I love the dynamics of eve.
To TSDS: Sorry things didn't work out as planned I would have liked them to prove me and my corp wrong on my assumptions.
People assumed we didnt fight or pull our own weight but in truth we got in every op that we could. Even through real life problems i always found time to either get a small gank squad together and take them into neighboring regions or follow the competent fleet comanders into battle. It seemed toward the end there getting a 50 man fleet together was easily done and i was pretty impressed on how much the alliance was growing. I would have liked to be able to accompany TSDS to the north but every CEO has to do what is best for their corp.
I fought along side BTK and Carnal and all these guys for nearly two years and they are a good group of guys who simply couldnt accept a mediocre existance and that is something to be commended and not reprimanded. Even though i am not the best PVPer i would always give up my ship to save another and for that it got me in the top 10 pilots for losses but it was all in good fun.
Good luck TSBS go kick some ass and hope to see you do well.
to TSDS, was alot of fun fighting along side you guys.

"These people didnĘt want to listen to anything that was said and pretty much never joined in on ops and pretty much never did anything for the alliance anyway"
Yes, after losing ships due to incompetent fleet commanders, I did not partake in any ops. Notice that the most amazing TSDS op in recent memory was led by ME and we lost 4 or 5 ships, and scored 52 kills, in 1 minute flat. 27 ships, 25 pods. It was the leadership that could not accept criticism, grow, learn from mistakes, and continually got their pilots raped.
And who are you to talk EX? You VERY VERY RARELY ever went on an op, and the last time we were on an op together you got me killed for NOTHING because of stupidity. You should just quit eve, honestly, you ruin the fun for everyone else, besides your co conspirators like BTK.
And someone made the comment that AMAX plays for spite and hate....we play for fun. And killing you will be fun.

I will try my best to put some light onto the event that Mr. Russo is taking about. I will attempt to do so with out dragging anyone in the mud with the exception of Mr. Russo whom has brought this upon himself.
During one of our battles with AAA after many successes in a row, we tried to one up the engagement and attack a AAA friendly POS (or perhaps a AAA POS itself, not 100% sure as to the events of this day.)
The battle occured while I was not online, so this is really third hand accounts taken from mutliple sources that all said the same thing. These event's took place about 3 weeks to a month ago:
During the fighting a AAA gate camp that appeared to be about 20 ships according to the scout was camping the system. The escort ships jumped in and there was more AAA than there was at first. The fleet commander whom was in a capital ship decided to jump in 3 of the fleets carriers (while leaving some of the carriers and all of the dreads behind for safety) for support (TSDS has a history of not being afraid to throw it's capitals into the line of fire. And before someone from Black Lance flames, no they did not always sit in dock range of the station.) Quickly the number of AAA in local jumped then to about 60-70. The cyno pilot had reported favorible conditions to jump the fleet in. TFC Grimwell who was leading this operation made what would seem like a good call. However the number of losses to the support fleet had not been fully determined. Needless to say, the three carriers fought back to and managed to take a respectible number of ships with them to the grave, but lost. 3 carriers downed, and to be honest with the size of our pocket book, no big deal. At least to the other 2 pilots.
The fleet commander of the day, TFC Grimwell, then payed each of the 3 carrier pilots 1 billion ISK each for his call.(TFC Grimwell is no longer part of us and is considered hostile. I am sure however he considers Russo hotile. Basically the only thing keeping the rest of the alliance from blowing the crap out of Russo was Short Bus CEO "BorntoKill") Well Russo went into hiding after these events and to go pout in a corner somewhere. Regardless of the fact he could easily afford this loss alone... and with out a doubt with the billion ISK he was paid. Basically Russo, was to butt hurt to fight after this. Grimwell made every effort to acknowledge he made a bad call on poor intellegence, while AAA intellegence on the situation was top notch. Horse manure occurs. Buck up and get back out and fight. Guess he couldn't.
Along with the internal problems Russo has been causing since long before this: Leave him was the choice.
So when we left him high and dry in Stain, along with some of the others who respectfully didn't wish to join us, and those who were not so respectful about our plans to leave the safety blanket of the NPC stations in Stain once and for all. He must have been faced with the choice: Stay and get shot, or go try to fruitlessly shoot down TSDS/TSBS haulers where he knew he could find them. He has failed the prove himself to have a backbone, and failed to prove himself a worthy enemy (again.)
So Russo, before going to drag other peoples names in the dirt, such as BTK's name... you should let them know what cowardly actions you took to earn you a place (again) in our KOS book of fame. Fact is Russo, the man you are harping on... is the only reason we tolerated you as long as we did, in hopes that that you would change. -----

Please, Russo, spare us your hypocrisy. Say what you will about our actions, however, I have been in those fleets in which you led.
Anyways, I find it customary and appropriate for those ousted from the alliance to flame us for what we are doing. It is sudden and abrubt afterall. We not only screwed 300 or so people in Stain by ditching them there, but we also effed the 700 or so remaining in Frulegur by dragging them there and then saying we were disbanding the alliance.
How is this fair to them, one might ask. Well, it's not, simply. However, we were offered to do this is thus this is what we have chosen too.
I will not defend the leadership's decisions in these situations, but until i find some excelsior reason in which I must rise up then I will follow obedienty therein.
So, basically, we screwed about 1100-1200 people over quite royally and now we're on our way and it's the past. All I can say is that I'm sorry it was not handled in a more logical manner, sorry to the corps we lost. Josh |

Awwww, LordMordred. Thats a fantastic tale. I was captivated from beginning to end. It would have been brilliant if the fight had gone the way you so wonderfully portrayed. However TSDS lost 3 carriers in one fight because; 1) The TSDS gang camping the gate had a AAA gang much larger than themselves warp in to our few sniping bs's. 2) The leader of the gang didnt tell the fc that there was pretty much nothing to save by jumping in the carriers. Maybe if he had given Grimwill a more accurate assessment Grimwill wouldnt have ordered the carriers through. 3) The cyno was but up in a bubble. I bad mistake but one from which the cyno pilot has hopefully learnt and moved on.
Everbody knows what went on with the alliance disbanding, its blindingly obvious. The alliance was a dictatorship and BTK liked his power. But the trouble with an alliance of many corps is that you still have CEOs, and therefore never complete control. So heres what you do. You get rid of all the corps that you never really listened to in the first place, and you make a megacorp. One CEO, one dictator, all the power. TSBS, the only corp that really had any influence in the alliance, becomes the only thing left of the alliance. Almost poetic.
The only thing wrong now is that other people are giving so much effort into trying to bring TSBS down. Guys, just leave it, they'll break themselves apart eventually, just sit back and watch it happen. And yes, I am from one of the corps that were left in Stain, apparently kicked for talking to a CEO of a kicked corp. But to be honest, im not bothered. TSDS didnt exactly matter to me, it was never a close enough alliance to do that.
I'll say gl but in all honesty I couldnt care less. Now, what was that alliance called I used to be in?
