Angel 8/8 has been changed ... 15 Frigates that can scramble/stasis your ship is normal thing and it is not enough to report about this thing in patch notes? I am curious how many players have lost their ships during 1 hour after patch deployment...

The following was removed from the patch notes because it didn't make it to the patch. We're sorry we didn't fix it sooner and hope it hasn't caused you any inconvenience.
- Mission bookmarks should no longer drop you 90km or further, from acceleration gates.
- The level 4 Assault-type missions have been changed. The encounter difficulty was modified, as well as some object names and gate types. The distance between beacons and gates have been greatly reduced.
- The distance between gate and beacon in the level 2 and 3 'Illegal Activity' mission #3 has been reduced.
- The commodity in the 'Flu Outbreak' mission has been changed from Antibiotics to Antiviral Drugs.

why did you remove snowballs?
I was saving mine as collectors items and would have used them had i known that they were gonna be deleted in 1.3?
technically from a roleplaying standpoint how can snowballs melt when ice for pos fuel not?

Snowballs were only as big as your head. these took 2 years to melt.
Ice for POS fuel is 1,000 m3 a LOT bigger than your head. Thus takes a LOT longer to melt.
They were removed due to the number of people using them to coax people into shooting back in empire space and thus, getting concorded. ________________________________ ~Jiekon ~CCP QA Known Issues Easy steps to bug reporting How to use the log server

Originally by: Beldaws Ok, we have a MAJOR problem!
The patch has removed Stront from the building requirements for the new scanner probes. Stront isn't a Tech2 component. I understand removing Nanotransistors and Hypersynaptic Fibers, but you weren't susposed to remove Stront!
I've invested Billions in Stront to build these probes and have tons of probes on the market that I paid over 80k to build which now can be build for 20k. I don't mind you taking away the Nanotransistors and Hypersynaptic fibers because I can use those for other things, but what the heck am I going to do with billions of isk worth of now useless Stront! I won't even be able to sell the stront for what I paid for it. Now that the probes don't take stront, the stront prices are going to crash. Either way I'm going to loose billions on this goof up.
Please put stront back in as a building material for the new probes.
Patch Notes: "Tech2 components required for the production of the new scanner probes (Sift, Comb, Pursuit, Quest) have been removed. Mineral requirements have also been reduced and balanced accordingly."
AArrrgh! Tell me this is an unintentional error - although I've not spent as much on Stront as some people obviously have, I have however spent quite a portion of my own meagre wealth over the last week or so buying over 5000 units of the stuff. Since when is Stront classed as a Tech II component?

Edited by: DethApostle on 30/01/2007 13:40:45 I'm still getting random crash to desktops after installing the new patch. :( 1st time (about 20 minutes ago)was in the middle of a mission. 2nd time (just now) was dropping out of warp near a station.
The rest of the patch seems cool though, but this is just darn annoying! (I have already deleted the Machonet folder too btw)

No, this is intentional. All t2 materials and ice products were removed from Exploration Probes. ________________________________ ~Jiekon ~CCP QA Known Issues Easy steps to bug reporting How to use the log server

@devie: you using router? seeing all the data from various post it could be: mtu value wrong, lower it some nat protocol messing around with packets, might need to disable trojan/virus modifying exe files on the fly *snip* Please don't post that link again. -Eldo (mods@ccpgames)

Adding a bookmark throws an exception. This is being looked into.
Look in your EVE installation\cache\Browser, the bookmarkedSites.txt is still there with its contents. The game just can't read it for some reason.
I've taken a copy of mine just to be on the safe side. ----- CCP: Please make ship loot to drop in a can next to the wrecks. |

I get this also. I tried downloading the patch from the website rather than through the game launcher (a damn sight faster it was as well heheh) but it fails at the end of the patching process with error=ept0029

It was reported in patchnotes that there will be different spawns as far as tackling frigates go in NPC missions, I'm affraid you are wrong here...
EDIT: Also: patch deployment on two clients went smoothly. autopatcher throws no errors whatsoever this time. Clients work fine. I deleted MachoNet even b4 running the patched clients 1st time, so no issues at all. Clean Patch on my machine.

Been involved in a little empire war battle, the wartargets are set as neutral but they show up as wartargets in the overview, removing the neutrals from the overview removes the wartargets too, show wartargets option is checked in the settings. Is this intended? :P

Please try unchecking all the options then rechecking them all and trying again. War targets were showing up for me ok when i turned off "show neutrals"

Office unrented during the DT or before no idea when haven't been on for 24 hours. No mail was recieved. Not so bad, just get the office back and get items out of impound.
However, then went to deliever on Blueprints that were in research at a POS in the system. The BPO's should have been returned to the hanger. The delievery log says they were returned to the POS labs. Checked both POS labs neither show up they arn't in the corp hangers in the station where they should have actually been returned and they arn't in the corp delieveries. Check the corp interface and the items just are no were to be found.
Any ideas. The thing I'm most worried about is all the other BPO's that are still in research or manufacture that were meant to goto the corp hanger.
Any idea's where they may be
