Few questions about getting into L4 running
- Are there any mission hubs that are better to be running missions in? (Sorry if I missed a guide explaining it)
- I'll be using a Kronos to run the missions with this fit so I'm not sure if other agents will be easier/better than others.
- Any good guides? I found this one for burner missions and Eve-Survival for basic mission info. Any other good ones that I should check out?

Depends on who and what faction you want to run missions for. If you want to stay in High Sec, try to stay away from systems on the main routes to and from Low Sec and Null. Especially, those near and around Jita and other trade hubs.
I run missions for the Amarr Navy and spent a while looking at systems through the Beta Map before settling down on one specific system. Island systems are usually preferred within a couple of jumps from Low Sec. Usually 0.5 and 0.6 systems are ideal because they have higher LP payouts than higher rated systems.
I know that systems in and around the Khanid Kingdom are pretty empty. These are also good systems for scanning down DED sites and getting escalations.
It sounds plausible enough tonight, but wait until tomorrow. Wait for the common sense of the morning.

EDIT: Added links to fits I was thinking of using.
Just use the in-game Agent Finder and look for .5 systems with lots of L4 agents. |

Once you get your skills up the best way to make good ISK per hour is to blitz for SP. Longterm this means running missions in as lower a security as possible (0.5 generally for hisec) and getting as good a ISK/LP ratio as possible.
A guaranteed way to NOT get good ISK/LP is run one of the navies as you are competing with the FW guys who make a cr@pload of SP. You might get 7 mill ISK per 10,000 SP if you are lucky
There are two ways to get maximum ISK/LP:
- watch the markets and find very high ISK/LP ratio items and go run mission for corps selling them. Returns here can be as high as 40 to 50 mill ISK per 10,000 LP but you need to know the markets well and be on your toes
- run mission for a corp with consistently good but not amazing ISK/LP. An exampel here is SOE that consistently returns 15 mill to 20 mill ISK per 10,000 LP traded .

Not to mention the Lv5 mission farmers. sure sometimes you see something at 1k isk/lp, that is usually a great trade for a navy store. I've slowly chipped away at my 1m+ CPF lp that I had from years back selling CN cloaks and light missile launchers in jita.

Apanake isn't bad either if you want to run for SoE (due to the good lp conversion), but Lanngisi does have better local chat.
Personally I've found running for a different corp with an average LP conversion better. I just prefer having 2 lvl 4 agents in the same station to avoid those (admittedly rare) hits to turning down 2 anti-faction missions within 4hrs.

Only if you like warp over 120 au in Barkrik there and back again.
BTW, it seems, that I will have to use to Kronos pilots asking newbee questions... those pesky skill injectors ;)

In some ways, Apanake is better than Lanngisi because (at least in my opinion) I like the frequent Burner missions that I get sent to in neighbouring lowsec. Adds frisson when someone either scans you down in their Stratios but can't fit through the gate, or they come through in their Astero or whatever, and the Burner rat switches focus on them and blaps them - I like the occasional extra loot drops that they provide

Also all the gates are pretty much right next to each other so it is very quick warping through the system.

Trust Partners have better LP to ISK conversion rates than any other empire corp. They have two L4 agents in Molden Heath, close to Hek and Rens. They tend to send you to lowsec systems quite often, so still not a good choice if you wanna run missions all day long.

Once I started pulling missions with 2 (and then 3) toons at once and going out and running them all in a batch before heading back to Lanngisi SOE station to turn them in, I discovered a fun fact:
The warp from the Tvink gate in Barkrik to the missions near the sun is very short (I think like 10 to 30 AU, depending on exactly where the mission site is) compared to that 120-130ish AU warp to the Lanngisi gate from most missions.
So, if you happen to have a mission in Tvink AND a mission in Barkrik, just do the Tvink one, then the Barkrik one, and go back through Tvink again. More jumps on the way back but less long warps there AND back. |

Thukker Mix should have the same ratio, but there are two cons: 1-Lowest security status for L4 is 0.8 2-No L3 security agence in HS
But to be honest, I think that it is not really an issue. Higher SS is often synonym for less mission in LS, that might compensate for the loss of LP per mission. And farming L2 to gets enough standing for L4 is not that long. |
