... fitting a module that will go over the max power grid/cpu. We know its too much, its clearly offline!
Maybe if ccp really wants to keep it, I suggest having it only pop up when you try to turn the module online and not when you are initially fitting the module. |

I suggest that it's one of those boxes that you can turn to 'never show this warning again' as it's probably useful for noobs
For posting an idea into F&I:
come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it.....
If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

Downtime countdown. 3 popups during 1 hour total multiplied by the number of active EVE clients = headache. |

I find the connection in this one interesting. An older player involved with one of the games more well known new player groups wants to eliminate a feature that very likely benefits the same new players the group claims they try to help.
-1 to your idea of removing this popup notice.
+1 to Xe'Cara'eos idea of making it on by default but allowing each player to determine if they want to see it ever again. |

EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.
Hello, Mr Carebear. Would you like some cheese with that whine?

Unless modules come by default as offline and it's standard to have to manually turn them on (PLEASE CCP DO NOT DO THIS) then your idea of triggering when onlining only would make sense but I really don't want people having no clue from the UI that their frigate can't really fit 3 large shield extender unless they try to turn them on. Getting the feedback as soon as you fit it is really useful for someone who isn't used to using out of game fitting tools for example. |
