I went ahead and paid out dividends today, while we await the monthly accounting.
I am quite conservative about buying atm, preferring to increase the dividends and at the same time have more money in the tank. Dividends this month grew to 1.8% or 544K per share. Total payout on shares has been 5.8 bn since we began.
I have no returned shares available to sell - there is an offer to buy shares for 31 mio ISK a few posts up. Thanks all :) |

I'll take that, and cancel my order above.
I likely won't be able to get online until sometime around 23:00, but I'll send 165,000,000 to CistaCista as soon as I am able. |

And I have paid out dividends.
The good news is dividends grew for the third month in row to now 2.1 %. I am holding back with buying too much stuff so dividends will most likely continue to grow a bit in the coming months Altogether 7 bn have been paid out as dividends so far.
The other good news is that some shares have been destroyed, This means that we all get a little higher dividends each month than the official values! |

If you would like to buy shares, you will probably have to make an offer here somewhere above 30 mil ISK per share.

We are waiting for the accounting report so I paid out the dividends already.
There was one very large purchase this month which was the Monocle. Following this purchase shareholder dividends fell a bit from 627K per share to 459K per share or 1.5%. Enjoy!

Hey! My fashionably underpaid accountant pointed out to me that I had made a mistake in money transfer among the two internal accounts of the museum, when purchasing that monocle. This resulted in too little money paid out for dividends for June!
This has now been corrected, and a cool 200K extra on each share is the result that has been sent to you, bringing the June dividends to 2.2% altogether YAY! This is the highest amount of ISK the museum has paid out per share in its first year. |

*Help evaluate the EVE Museum collection*
So! The public IPO has run for a full year now, and this should be a good occasion to reassess the value of the assets.
Why is this important? It is not essential, in the sense that shareholder dividends do not come from profit within the museum, so changes in values do not impact you immediately. But for investors it is nevertheless reassuring to know that money has not been squandered, and that the estimated value of museum assets remains several times higher than the price value stamped on the shares that are held.
I have looked through the entire asset list as seen on the webpage and suggested some new values in the far right column of each table there. GREEN values for items that have increased in value, and RED values for the opposite. The scramble to buy materials for citadels let many people to sell everything else this year, meaning also the collectables market was hit. Especially ships that were easily liquidated. Furthermore I also bought many rigged ships at a much too high price. Meanwhile, Astronautic Engineering increased value from 5 bn to 50 bn, and Silvershore Greatcoat went from 12 bn to 25 bn, so that helps :)
You can now correct me! If you have time and knowledge, please have a look at some of the values listed, and comment on anything that you believe is off. I will be happy to adjust before we do the next montly report for July.

About one week left if you want to correct any judgment errors I have made in valuing assets!
It would be particularly interesting to get any opinions on the value of the Astronautic Engineering skillbook. It was as fact sold for 50 bn or so to that banker that was the first person to attempt to max out all the skills of EVE Online. And looking at the market data for this skillbook, it can be seen that other sales for it have been even higher. These sales do smell a bit of RMT though, if you take a look at the graph. What is it really worth?
Also the Cross of the Throne Order is hard to assess. I bought it for 80 bn and immediately got an offer to sell it on after that. But since then, CCP went and seeded another one so there is now two of them in game. I have left the value standing at 80 bn though, as in my opinion any item that is that rare must be valued not in bn but in hundreds of bn. |

Monthly dividends have been paid! the museum bought a few things this month, most notably the Mobile Refinery Operation skill for 6 bn!
This spending means dividends dropped slightly to 561K per share, or 1.9%. On the bright side, the total amount of ISK that the museum has paid you shareholders in dividends, has now surpassed 10 bn ISK :)
