Don't know how much of you imagine what could be a T2 Attack Battlecruiser, i did it with some verry unusuall bonuses
T2 Oracle--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amarr Battlecruiser Bonuses (per skill level): 10% Bonus Large Energy Turret Damage 10% Rreduction in Large Energy Turret activation cost
(insert skill name here) Skill Bonuses (per skill level): 10% Bonus Large Energy Turret Damage 10% Tracking Computer Effectiveness
Role Bonus: 95% Reduction in Large Energy Turret powergrid requirement 50% Reduction in Large Energy Turret CPU requirement 50% Reduction in Large Hybrid Turret activation cost +50% Targeting Range
Note: Polarized Energy Turret Installed on this ship type Reduce the ship resistance to all damage by 50%
Can fit Heavy Stasis Grapplers
5 High Slot 5 Turret Slot 5 Medium Slot 7 Low Slot 2 Rig

(if the polarized weapon part wasn't clear, i was trying to describe it if you fitt a polarized weapon system to this ship type it reduce your shield/armor/hull resist by 50% . Example: if you have 50Em 40Thermal 50Kinetic 60Explosive shield resist, after a polarized weapon system fitted on the ship its going to be 25Em 20 Thermal 25 Kinetic 30 Explosive, hope i was clear )
Weapon Role bonuses are not final just place holders

So basically they're just attack BCs, but OP as ****.
By the way, you know there's no such thing as polarized cruise or rapid heavy launchers, right? Polarized weapons are all short-range variants.
T2 ships are supposed to be specialized. These are far more generalized than their T1 counterparts.

in my point of view i specialized them to be a better large weapon platform with better application than the t1 counterparts and maybe with better tank, and a uniqe bonus that no other ship had soo far, or tell me if any other ship have bonus to polarized weapons (those weapons are awesome on every ship just too situation depended with the 0 resist bonus)
didn't said you can only use polarized ones on that ship class, and yes i know there is only ac/pulse/blaster/torp weapons are there, i'm using a polarized barghest with 2100dps,
describe me the op as **** part, the amarr version has a little more dps than the nightmare, the naga has the old dps of the cnr or the current dps of the state issue (if i calculated right) |

Seriously?
You gave it stasis grapplers, a targeting range bonus, and what is effectively an optimal bonus through TCs. It snipes. It brawls. It has more effective turrets than a Nightmare or Paladin. It probably makes julienne fries.

Yeah, it only has more dps than pirate and tournament prize battleships. Oh and better range, and better application. And better mobility.
What could possibly go wrong?

These bonuses may have made sense if you applied them to x-large weapon systems. IE, capital weapons.
However, no web bonus.
Essentially, they wouldn't be heavy duty sniper boats intended for POS/citadel sniping and/or hit and run tactics on capital ships.
Extremely weak against subcap ships, though like capitals, they can snip and/or missile bash subcaps if fitted properly, but would be extremely risky.
This would actually be quite a good idea for HS POS/citadel bashing, considering CCP is stating that there's no intent to allow capitals in HS. |

no there is something wrong with my calculation then, i don't want to give them that much dps, for the t2 amarr i wanted to achive a little more dps than the nightmare, for the t2 caldari i wanted to achive the old cnr dps.

then we lower the dps just help me with the numbers :)
for range, i only gave range bonus for the naga because i wanted to make the torps a little more attractive

okay let me try again, lets take a standar ship shield resist , lets see the typhoon, it has shield resist of 0 Em 20% thermal 40% kinetic 50% explosive
now apply a polarized weapon and the the ship resists going to get halved the em stays 0% (obvs) 10% thermal 20% kinetic 25% exsplosive, did you read the whole post? i think i made it clear enough what happens... |

I stopped reading at the part where you gave a hybrid bonus to the oracle.
The whole idea is just a wacked half baked idea that would create fast moving death machines that would dominate the game inside of 2 weeks. You're missing a 500% damage bonus vs T3 destroyers - I think that's the missing role bonus the ship really needs.

That thing has 11.25 effective turrets. Double skill bonuses like that stack multiplicatively (5 * 1.5 * 1.5).

whats the other t1 bcs do and what the t2 versions? T1 combats has modarate dps and better tank than a cruiser and fleet buff, t2? same just more improoved with boost to the warfare link modules and with better dps/tank
then tell me what do you expect from a t1 hull that allready specialized to dps and lighter tank than the other combat battlecruisers?
t2 version is a little more improoved one, more dps little more survive ability, alone still can't fight against smaller targets, battleships are still has better tanks etc etc
or tell me what would be your idea for the attack battlecruisers t2 variations? them here a verry specialized role, lets make them the same little more resist , 8 high and 7 turret, lets give them a new module called "Cynosural Inhibitor Generator Field" with 20-25km range, see now its a specialized for something other than dps.
or we don't need new ships lets just add more frigates to the game to help frigate online right?

yes the idea was to remove slots from high to give them more low/meds
and buff the damage/rof bonus to have a little better dps than the t1 versions, but from the comments looks like i over did it, but thats why the forum is for to help.
about the tornado and the talos, im still wroking on it |
