Well, this is just my luck. Last thing I remember was the bright flash of light as that last little missile hit my pod. Damn pirates. But that's why we buy clones, right? Yeah, and now, finally, one YEAR later, my clone gets activated. Thanks. Really appreciated. And now I'm "the last employee of a corporation that no longer exists." Ha. How's that? And yeah, the Gallentean government STILL has me registered with them. Very smooth. And the kicker? Well, apparantly, my assets across Gallentean space had gotten impounded since I had not accessed them in over six months! As if I could have. Makes me wonder how my assets in Caldari space have fared. Now I'm hearing about this Amarrian station in Gallentean space...a station that is rumored to be a front for the Amarrian slave trade in Gallentean space. And from what I hear... they are not trading TO the Gallenteans, either. Not that any Gallentean worth his salt would actually BUY a slave, mind you. Such barbarism! What really gets me is that supposedly, this station has the approval of the Gallentean government? Did I miss something? Last I checked this was fairly obviously a BAD idea. Someones going to fry for this, eventually. Until then, however, I believe the Gallentean government has proven it's ineptitude. I'm outta here, at least I can trust the Caldari...so long as I have the money to buy that trust.

Unfortunate, though hardly unsurprising. The Gallente bureaucratic machine is so full of red tape, I'm surprised your clone was activated at all. In the meantime, if you're still out of a job, look me up.

Amusing to see the males scrambling at the hint of an available woman. I thought I was the young and hot-blooded nugget.
Either way, Scaitan. You don't buy the trust of the State with money. You work for it. In fact, I bid you good luck in proving yourself to them. you will need it. It takes a bloody long time to convince them that you are not just there for a ride.
Even so, there's not much left in the State to trust. ---------------

The devils that sit in the seats of power within the Federation are guilty of much more heinous crimes than the minor irritations you mention, my brother.
One less loyal Federate is a good thing, but I caution you to not rely on ANY bureaucracy to meet your individual needs. Beware of the distant elites that serve as puppeteers for empire. Be they Gallente, Amarr, Caldari or Republic...

Another glaring example of the impotence and ignorance of this President. Under the leadership that has "guided" this Federation for some time now the Gallente people, our ways, and the political framework that makes us great and who we are in New Eden will continue to erode.
As for the Amarrian station and the underground slave trade that's happening, are you surprised?! This Federation under this leadership encourages the home regions to be timid and complacent. Don't expect anything to change until the leadership changes or the Gallentean people publicly declare they have had enough. Something those who's ear has picked up the word on the street hanging in back alleys and taverns are already well aware of. _____________________________________________________________________ "My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent. Dear, oh dear. Everyone's a critic it seems these days. I can't criticise the eloquent use of language although it would be nice to see someone say something new for a change that the rest of the Eve Cluster did not know already.
In any event, welcome back Scaitan from the frozen meat locker. I trust that you're thawing nicely old bean. Get a little fire in your belly, go out and take part in some mindless violence fuelled by an insane cause and you'll soon fit right in.
Now about that paperwork that's been accumulating this part year... good luck with that.

There are worse ways of ending up at the bottom rung on the ladder again, trust me. At least you had a clean slate.
Also, I doubt you'll cut it within the State. Far harsher than Federation space, and generally less profitable. I lost my pod license a few years back and got it back within a mere 6 months pulling a bank job. Bless the crappy and easily bribed Federation security forces! ___

When the Gallente Federation decided to make its bed with the Amarr Empire. I knew it was time for me to leave.
However, I can't get this sick feeling out of my stomach that we Gallenteans should do something about this. Aren't we the "symbol" of freedom and democracy? Don't we want share that with the rest of EVE?
However, it seems to me that the Federation is stabbing our Minmatar allies in the back with the establishment of this slave station. I say that if we want to keep our Minmatar friends that it's up to us the citizens of the Federation to fix the problem.
Who's with me?

I can't agree with you more. Apparently, judging by the recent election results, we are a minority in this Federation. OR, the Gallenten people were misled, OR the Government has a political agenda we are not aware of. Perhaps all of the above and more. I've heard little from true Gallentean heros like Mentas Blaque in light of the situation, but considering the Scope is the lap dog of the current administration, that's not surprising.
But if it's revolution you speak of then that would do more harm than good and such a movement would surely have the backing of the traitorous Intaki. I don't support any of that. With all her faults the Federation is still the greatest government in the New Eden cluster, and we must remain united. Again, something the Intaki fail to comprehend or assist with. _____________________________________________________________________ "My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent. I do speak of Revolution. I agree that an armed rebellion to the chambers of the Senate is not answer.
However, we should look to where they are putting that slave station and remove that from Federation Space. That is the ultimate symbol of things to come. If that station is allowed in Federation Space, then we are no good to ideals that we as Gallenteans claim to support.
I am certain that elements of Minmatar Republic would assist us if given the opportunity.
My point is that we should remind those in power in our Federation, that the power lies in us. Not the bureaucrats.

Well, this new posting comes from the middle of Caldari space. A system by the name of Velinen, I believe. I've come in contact with Ms. Vreena and Mr. Teken'duis and have decided to toss my cards with him. If the Caldari State cannot be trusted, hopefully he can. I still hold to the belief that the the Caldari can run a better clone-vat, however. Could be wrong on that, though.
As for us disillusioned and disgusted Gallentes doing something: revolution? No, not even with the help of the Minmatar could that be successfull. What we need is propaganda, my friends. Massive amounts of it. Get the people to rise against this new president and scare the congress. Get every representitive to at lease believe that his territory is outraged. The system as it stands has the ability to work... we just need someone who knows how to make it work.
How? That is beyond the scope of my knowledge or expertise. I'm a drone mechanic, not much else.
Now, then, back to the paperwork. And the agents. Bloody ****en agents.... -Scaitan Veranoin |

A wonderful idea. It clearly states that the Federation is not interested in supporting the Amarrians and allows anyone who is will to blow this station sky high.
Of course, the one thing you forgot is that it also leaves the other planets, and stations, and moons, etc., without protection. Because the Amarr have built a station for increasing their slave numbers you would abandon the people of an entire system? Bit hasty don't you think?
