So elsewhere I read about CVE and a corporation within CVE called "PIE". I'd like to know more about them. I'm Amarr (Khanid) and I like the philosophy of this group (the reason why I chose Amarr is, apart from the superior aesthetics of their ships, the history of this culture, which reminds me of my beloved Dune novels). Seems difficult to reach them and join them, however. I have only been playing for a couple of days and doing career agent missions. I have some ships already (the game has been quite generous in that), but not top equipment. I know there are no such things as "levels" and such easy tier indications in EVE Online, but I'd like to contact members of CVE and discuss my application if possible. As I said, I'm very new to EVE so I'd rather ask here. Should I look for someone in particular to make introductions? Can anyone please help me? Thank you in advance! |

It's actually CVA The alliance relevant pages are here http://www.cva-eve.org/ and here https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Curatores_Veritatis_Alliance_%28Player_alliance%29
But you don't join an alliance, you join a corp within that alliance. In the wiki it lists member corps, although it is probably out of date. Better to do a search in game using people & places, and go off that member list, checking out each corp.
CVA has a public channel #CVA-Diplo
Also, they probably have affiliated alliances in the are, so if none of the CVA member corps are recruiting, you might be able to get into another alliance. They could tell you there who they are affiliated with.
Usually, I will say that when you join a null corp, they might not care too much about your skill level, but they will want you to be monetarily sufficient. This is not a rule though. But generally, if they accept new players, then new players should have completed the tutorials.
Are you in trial? Because they might not accept trial accounts as well. Enthusiasm often trumps everything else though, go to the channels, meet the people and see what you think. Making friends is what it is all about.
My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

Null-sec can be a harsh environment, so for your own enjoyment you will want to get a little bit of experience under your belt first. However, there is no harm getting in touch now and finding out more about Providence and NRDS. Send me an EVEmail in game and I'll give you some more info.

Just find some minmatars, put 'em in chains, slain someone for the Great Good God, make some proud speeches and conquer someone to destroy their culture and get new resourses and slaves - and so you'll prove yourself as a true amarr and a faithful disciple of your history, philosophy and culture. |

In character mode on. I am a proud member of my Empire! What proof do you want from me? Ask and I'll show you. But beware. By testing my faith you only succeed in testing my patience. In character mode off.
And that was a quote from Chronicles of Riddick. Now I sound like a Necromonger... good gods! |

There are True Amarr - and all other races made to serve, to be usefull, or to be desrtoyed. |

I am not afraid to learn. In fact, I am quite eager. Arkoth 24, let me remind you that every single one of us started their career by leaving their homeworld or some other stone we used to live under. Being a veteran does not make you better. Only older. |
