I was flicking through the manual and I noticed the time line in EVE is like 26xxx AD, and I thought, OMG that far into the future and drugs are still about?
You would think that far into the future we wouldn't need artificial stimulants. And what about the dangers? I mean if your Captain is hooked on Drop, he isn't best person to fly you home. Don't know about you but I wouldn't trust a Mindflood junkie in my Ibis let alone my Raven.
Captain> 'Can you feeeel the luuurve!' Crewman> ' Cap'n I can feel the heat! You're about to fly us into that sun!!!' Captain> ' Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!'

Dr Gonzo:"As your attorney i advise you to buy a Battleship with no top."
"Then you are going to need the Exile."
Raul Duke:"There is nothing more depraved helpless and irresponsible than a pilot in the depths of a Mindflood binge."

Hmm, yes... [in an Ibis docking from 64km out] "C'mon you mutha... too slow! I'm out, I'm running!!"
[while warping to Yulai jumpgate] "scan the gate, there might be a rat! scan the gate!!"
Definitely shouldn't be encouraged.
edit: silly typo

Maybe the pilot would have flash backs and the ship would take control and throw a wobbly for a number of seconds or longer depending upon what you had. ------------------------------------------------ " Put your balls back in your hangers boys, I'm just here for your money.. "

i wasn't gonna run from CONCORD, but then i got high...
as for "future drugs," you might went to investigate the Culture novels. Citizens of the Culture trigger production of various internal "homebrews" by thinking about it. Remember, the external chemical is just a trigger. It's always your own brain gets you high...
You are in a maze of twisty little asteroids, all alike. |

Always thought I could fly when I was high....
Yeah, bring it on, no worse than a car through the middle of London town the morning after, now is it?
