(i had no idea where to put this..)
My current corp found a rather large secret collection of asteroids in a 0.4 sys. We truly thought we had hit the jackpot with this one, as it was filled with ores normally only found in 0.0 space! Sadly, it was too good to be true as one of our guys let it slip that we were mining in local chat, and sure enough within the next half hour some kitted out battleships flew in and podded half of us. Here is where you come in: our corp leader lost his navy mega in this battle and nearly quit the game, most of the corp now wants to continue mining in order to buy him back his ship. We (that's me, and a friend) dont think this is a very good way to spend the cash so we were wondering if a nice corp out there would like to "share" the belt. That is, i will personally reveal the name and location of this sys in game, after me and my friend have been paid a healthy sum for our trouble. Then we'll be on our way, and you can be assured quite a few frozen corpses (from the miners of my corp, trying to mine this field) and lots of money from the ore.
YOU MUST REPLY ASAP, before my corp organizes a mining operation and mines the field dry.

..how was i supposed to word it then? you people are suspicious of your own freakin' shadow..
i'm a noob player, this is true, honestly i didn't expect this reaction to something that'll probably get me kicked from my corp..i guess next time ill have to post in a forum that's not haunted by spineless players, so afraid of losing their ship..

Sorry, but "Free Stuff in this secluded area" is just a tad too fishy for my tastes. I sure as hell wouldn't waltz into a dark alley in New York is someone said there was some money on the ground there.

Anyone who's played EVE for more than about four months has probably cultivated a healthy sense of paranoia by now.

Cmon people, this post itself was proof positive that this offer is legit.
The guys trying to do the right thing by his corp and stop it wasting it's money by selling it out to the highest bidder, getting all it's ships blown up and handing it's rich roid belt off to someone else ensuring it can't make any isk to waste.
Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Mining with a Navy Mega for the win. Reminds me of the Mining-Machariel that friends once killed in 0.0. ( If that Machariel had had any Angel honor, it would have self destructed right after the pilot fit the miners ) ______________

Edited by: Agent Nuke on 06/02/2007 09:39:52 Edited by: Agent Nuke on 06/02/2007 09:38:04 LOL ill vouch for this field I still cant believe your navy mega wasnÆt willing to pay a ransom especially with the loot that was fitted. It doesnÆt have a acceleration gate thus allowing a cloaked azura into belt to setup and hold all ships that was intended to be destroyed.
Before you try and say im a pirate, IÆm not but when a corp member stumble across a hostile mining session with a navy mega i couldnÆt resist and travelled 18 jumps to get there.
PS tell your navy mega pilot not to leave the game, its only a ship and that can be made back very easily
EDIT - Crap spelling
