Every other program that I have in my taskbar creates a tab in place of the icon, is there a way to make the EVE launcher not such a special snowflake and conform to taskbar norms? |

If you open the settings dropdown menu and untick Minimize to tray on close the launcher will kill itself instead of putting itself in the tray. If you want it on the taskbar whilst not using it, well then you are just wierd, and no its not possible. |

Can you take a screenshot of what the issue is and how you want it to behave? |

Yeah, I should have been clearer with my question.
It's the taskbar that's usually at the bottom of a windows pc, in the second picture I have opened TS3, EVe and snipping tool, EVE pops up on the end and the icon remains and the others open in place of the icon.
I tried re-pin to the taskbar and no result.
I do have W10 but I'm not sure if it changed when I changed from 8.1, I can't remember it bothering me before so maybe.
Edit: Aoi, that's exactly what I want it to do |

It looks like you have the old launcher shortcut pinned there, did you upgrade from the old launcher or maybe still have the old launcher installed?
Or could it be that you have EVE Online installed via Steam? If not id suggest going to the eve launcher install (x:\EVE\Launcher\evelauncher.exe) folder and creating a new shortcut to desktop, and pinning that shortcut to the taskbar instead. |

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
It's the same launcher as I have always had, must look into this new launcher thingy you speak of. |

You might as well get it installed sooner rather than later as they are discontinuing its support on the 30th of June. The new one really is much better than the old launcher.
