Played fine for the past couple of days. Try to log in today 3/8/2016 and it couldn't find the Qt5widgets file or something. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Will not apply the launcher patch.
Now I keep getting "evelauncher.exe - Entry Point Not Found" error
The procedure entry point ?sendThroughObjectEventFilters@QCoreApplicationsPrivate@@QAE_NP AVQObject@@PAVQEvent@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\EVE\Launcher\Qt5Widgets.dll
So it looks to me that your dll file is missing some data. I'm no coder though so maybe you can figure out your code.
What I do know is that people expect to be able to use the products they pay for and after making a product for 13 years, you'd think it would have a fairly polished presentation. |

See this post for a work around.
Summary: reinstall launcher to a new directory, all starts working.
If you want to be experimental, try deleting the existing launcher folder and reinstall. |

My guess at what has happened (as a lot of people are not having issues) is that the launcher update managed to corrupt some dlls on some setups. CCP can't test for every hardware/OS/Software combo so these things are going to happen.
I think part of my problem was that I initially installed the game on my D:\ and then when I came back I reinstalled it on my new SSD which I made C:\ so I had to go into my registry and edit the location it had stored for the shared folder.
Having done that and then reinstalling the new Launcher, I seem to be running as one would expect without any issues.
PCs can be fickle, and some days my patience level is not where it needs to be when dealing with them.
Thanks for the all the help and best of luck. |

This just happened on my laptop. There was an update, Gui launcher failed reverting to server selection. exited and relaunched QT dll problems now it won't run. Reinstall launcher. Folder already exists and contains and installtion. Delete launcher. Pray. Folder already exists.sigh. use 7zip to extract launcher from exe. works finally. |
