Im actually not sure how the exact terms and conditions are regarding that matter, and when i google that i see many different stuff. Some say, sofware based (on the same PC) isnt allowed but hardware is, which makes no sense to me because finally it will have same impact. The official rules doesnt truly descibe that matter (not found), all i know is that it will need several different keys, which is totaly common sense.
Can someone explain exact and valid conditions? |

You can multibox to your heart's content as long as it's you who's doing the keystrokes. There's no official support for multiboxing though as far as I know. |

As simple as I can make it: You CAN run as many instances of EVE on one computer as you like. You may NOT use any software to automate the actions on your EVE clients. This goes for one client or multiple clients. You CAN use software that replicates your actions across multiple clients, so long as you are there doing the action and it is not automated. An example of this is mouse replication software that would make it so that actions on one client are done simultaneously on all clients. You CAN use hardware to replicate your actions across multiple clients, again so long as you are there performing the actions. You may NOT under any circumstances have actions run while you are not at the computer. This is a repeat but I want to make it clear in different works.
I am at work and don't have time to find links to sources for my points, but they are out there. |

Well, basically as long as i regulary play it, on my computer, with my own hands, its allowed in a unlimited quantity, so i can aswell run like 2-3 at once. Seems easy to understand.
My main issue simply is.. only 1 character can learn skill and i do want to explore EVE in every aspect, so that means i may need 2 or even 3 at once.. so every character is able to learn different stuff. And it can be of use when i may be able to use several at the same time for certain stuff. 3 surely is the magical limit, maybe i keep at 2. |

You can run as many as you want as long as you're actually sitting at your computer and running the controls. I run 4 at times when I feel like mining. Also, I seen someone post here on the forums not long ago where he had his set up to run like 15 or something like that, lol. He posted pics. Was insane. A wall of monitors. ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o ) ( o Y o )
The world would be a better place if boobies ran the world instead of boobs. |

AFAIK no automation. You must be doing the stuff. That is all.
