Hi, I am totally new to eve online so I am kind of lost here... There a many icons and functions and I don't really know wich one to use. My computer shut down during the tutorial so I don't really know how to access it again. I saw some videos and they explain the old background where things were placed differently and the old tutorial before things got changed so it is kinda useless and there doesn't seem to be videos about the new background. Also, I read the new tutorial is really bad to explain things...
So I really don't know the basics like how to warp, take a mission and contact a corporation the proper way (I read it was rude to sent directly a demand) nor do I know what I can do with the ship or mining.
So I would really appreciate some help here because I am beginning to get frustrated and lose interest... I would like some practical and easy to use info... I asked for help at the rookie channel but I got link to videos that are a bit vague and doesn't really answer my questions and I don't really want to read tons of manuals before being actually able to do something...
So any help would be really appreciated because the game seems really great but not easy to understand... |

Good solution;
Get into contact with people directly, to which it helps to say where you a from timezone wise. I would be happy to help, but if you are playing in late US or AU time, I will be either a sleep or at work.
Another option, ask them here.
Plenty of regulars will help you AND you will help others with the same questions as they can read the answers
So just ask 'How can I do "x"?' or " Where can I find 'y'?".
As for corp join / search stuff, go to the sticky threads and open "How to find the corp that is right for you version 3.0"

Due to RL I'm not as active as I was, but the rest of you are of course welcome to use it for rookie help.

EvE certainly can be a bit overwhelming at first. Stick with it though, you will pick it up soon enough and be glad you didn't quit . It's worth it.

You can actually petition a GM to get help with things like the tutorials. GMs really like helping new players.
Still, making friends with a mentor is preferred.

Be careful who you trust. If they start telling you open cans. They aren't your friend.
To trustworthy in eve, your gunna have a bad time.
