Being that I am on trial account for the time being (I did use to play eve about 8 years ago, but lost everything so started over) I can't post this in the recruiting section like I would like to. But being that all other new members that are also on trial accounts can only post here as well I figured this is the only way to get the new corp going.
The new Corp is Federation X Brigrade. We are a PVE corp and are recruiting new players who would like to learn how to play the game and have some people to hang out with other then the clustered rookie chat, help chat, or the beginner corp they throw you into. If interested simply just look up Federation X Brigade and apply to join.
Thanks, and hope to see some people that are interested :) |

I am interested, but will only join if this is posted in the correct forum. Can the Brigade perform this difficult task? Find out next week!
e: I hope Friendly Fire is set to 'legal'. Only the best emergent gameplay is produced if FF is legal!
Got a HoleySheet1 corpse? I'll buy it for 200m!

Recruitment is not allowed in new citizens q&a so this will be locked in short order.
Also the blind leading the blind into the woods at night is a bad bad bad idea. There are people like me in there.
Better the Devil you know.

I actually saw your in local post about your corp yesterday.
Yes, this isn't the right spot for this, but also realize that adverting in Local doesn't net you the best players either as the previous, devious, posters alluded to.
I think if I were you, I'd find some friends to fly with (if you haven't already got a lot of takers to your advertising) and pick some people that have a similar mindset to form that corp with.
Good corps grow themselves as much as they want. You might find there is another Corp out there with massive resources that already flys exactly like you want to. It would save you a ton of workload and overhead.
As for me, I like our little micro corp right now... not accepting new applicants.
Be Positive GÇó Change yourself first, New Eden will come later GÇó EVE is Awesome GÇó CCP isn't the enemy GÇó Players are people too GÇó Where're the clothing blueprints GÇó Yeah, I'm still learning this game

But will you pledge 20b towards the buildup of the new corporation's war chest?

I have tried to make my own corporation three times. It's very hard! I would recommend joining someone that's already very established. I was hoping to get a good corporation going myself then join one of these mighty 10 year alliances or something but like I said, it was really hard to convince people to join me.
You'll see, there's like 30 recruiters to actual people looking too.

As long as you are not subscribed no one will take you seriously when it comes to forming a corporation, there's a reason you need to be subscribed to post in the proper Recruitment part of the Forum.
Your claim to be a old EVE player is just that ... a claim. Sure it might be legit but my gut reaction is that this smells a bit fishy for a number of reasons. |

a) There are a thousand new player friendly corps out there that are willing to teach new players how to play.
b) those corps have players and CEOs who are actually subsribed to the game and therefore the corp members are not in a state of mystification as to whether their CEO will up on and quit in a couple weeks.
c) Those corp CEOs and players are people who have not been away from the game for so long, and actually understand the current mechanics of the game.
d) Their corps provide actual, material support to new players in the form of free ships and skillbooks.
Everything youre saying is pretty useless. If this is a scam, its weak. If this is real, its even weaker. |

I agree that putting myself into another new player's shoes why would I join a corp of a CEO that won't even commit to playing the game for more than two weeks. Get a sub then post in the proper forum.
Just as a heads up your corp recruitment advert will likely attract more spies from high sec war dec corps than actual players interested in joining for other reasons. Don't be surprised if you wind up permanently war deced. |
