Hi,
I have searched and read about different fits on Amarr ships for lvl 3 missions. I have fiddled aournd in EFT and came up with the fit shown below.
I will run Amarr missions in Amarr space and therefore damage resists I need, as far as have read is: EM, Thermal and Kinetic. Which is mirrored in the fit.
All the cap modules are there in order to make it stable.
For drones I count on using Light acolytes I (i have not skills for T2 drones).
Is this a viable fit with that purpose?
Stats with my skills are: Effective hitpoints: 46.092 EM resist 77,5; Thermal 20 / 70,8; Kinetic 40 / 82,4; Explosive 50 / 20 Cap stable at 47
DPS: 217 Mobility with AB on: 419 m/s Locking range 70 km

Going to need some time to look into this as I rarely fly any version of the Harby, and do not spend much time in turret based ships but here are some initial thoughts.
217dps is marginal for level 3's. It will get them done eventually but it will take a long time.
Drop 1 of the hardeners and go full missions specific for the 2 remaining this will increase your tank and allow a slot for something else like a dps or tracking boost.
Cap stability is not needed for mission unless you have a really poor internet connection so rebalance your reps and cap rechargers. If you want to run dual reps I suggest looking at changing your fit to be cap stable with a faction small running all the time this should allow you to drop one cap recharger for another open slot, hen pulse the medium as needed. Another option would be to use a faction medium and dropping one of the cap rechargers this would open up 2 slots.
If you need 2 rigs to handle CPU issues it seems your CPU skills are not trained or not trained to high enough level so check your electronics upgrades and cpu management skills make sure they are both to level 4.
Forget EHP, in a mission ship that measure of performance is irrelevant unless you are blitzing missions, you tank DPS is far more critical.
Got to run for work, will look at this and try to get back with other ideas / options later.

500-600 DPS depending on skills (before drones). Should fit; if not try a compact AB. Beams don't do as much paper damage but the range you get is worth it. Keep range and snipe to reduce the need for tank. Swap hardeners based on mission but for goodness' sake don't drop the damn heat sinks. |

I was going to post a fit but after looking at the one posted by Zhilia Mann it is better than mine so go with that and adjust if you need to. |

Ok.
I have tried this fit in EFT and replaced Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I with Medium Anti-Kinetic pump II.
Stats with my skils are: Effective HP: 41.831 Cap stable at 30% DPS: 252 Mobility: 390 Warp speed: 2,7 au/s Optimal range: 51 km
I plan on using Acolytes for smaller ships closing in.
Will go try it out in a lvl 3 mission and see how it goes.
Cheers

* I feel best confidential with a stable cap. I have it best with all mods running w/o thinking when to turn what off / on ** Reason for low dps as opposed to my skills is I wasted training on ice mining, science and manufacturing. Have used a few extractors to correct this, but it takes a shitload of skill points, so will have to wait for them to reach lvl V.

I would keep the CCC if you are worried about Cap. Very few Amarr missions have EM/Therm and Kin at the same time. so just drop a EM hardener for a Kin when you do an EOM mission or whatever.

In a general sense I do not like to see mission ships using rigs to meet resistance needs since it is expensive to change them if / when the needs change. One possible option based on a quick look in PYFA is to use the rig slot for an Ancillary Current Router I and remove the Power Diagnostic System allowing that slot for something else.
As far as the cap stable aspect you might as well get used to it now because cap stability in a mission ship is not always possible. When you get to level 4's the sacrifices you make to tank and dps output to gain cap stability will significantly increase the time needed to run a mission and it is better and cheaper to learn how to manage you cap now than it will be when you get to level 4's. Just my thoughts. |

Yeah, straight talk: don't rig against kinetic. Swapping your two hardeners versus whichever enemy you're facing is enough for L3s. The kinetic rig will 1) hurt cap stability, which you've said you value, 2) do nothing of benefit for most missions, and 3) slow your ship down, making it a less effective kiter. If you absolutely must rig for tank then try an auxiliary nano pump, which at least mitigates points 2 and 3 above. |
