So, this is the second titan killed while it was logged off, after waiting the listed time plus for all/any aggro to have expired.
By the same folks.
With a confirmed shady past.
Just a coincidence, right?

Its no good having an 1.5 hour aggro timer when its only supposed to be 15 minutes. Way to go Band of Cheaters! It looks like you still can't win a fight without some sort of strange bug happening. Indeed, BoB makes its own luck yet a gain.
Don't lose heart D2! The eve community is behind you on this. BoB may have given you a bloody nose today, but take heart that they couldn't win without cheating! Hold them off long enough and they will lose.
Can someone explain how does this exploit work?
Who has to kill and why what wrecks??
I find it realy strange for that titan to be lost such way.
I find it not strange at all that BOD again used exploiting tactics and what not. Just look at Dana's report about how they nailed him. So innocent...Makes me want to puke and use garlic. --------------

Originally by: Dianabolic This day has been a long one for many BoB pilots. We started this morning at 07:00 to defend and recharge 2 friendly POS, this was completed without any opposition. This afternoon two D2 pos came out of reinforced, the first was destroyed with little resistance felt by 14:00, during this phase of the afternoon BoB held the numerical advantage and used it to its full effect.
Phase two of todays battle has, thus far, been the most tactical, with some heavy losses being inflicted on D2 forces. With the BoB fleet standing at approximately 130 pilots, including 2 motherships and a titan, against the D2 fleet standing at about 90 in system at any one time, including WOTANKN in his erebus, with a further force of 10 - 20 (the numbers varied over the course of the afternoon) D2 dreadnaughts ready to jump in at a moments notice. BoB intelligence and recon units had observed that the enemy dreadnaughts were fitted for close range combat, with pulse lasers, autocannons and blasters.
BoB command had no doubts, with a numerical advantage we were not going to back down... but with caution we laid plans to counter the enemy tactics. With calculated professionalism the BoB recon teams set about their task, creating warp-in and egress routes whilst command plotted the attack.
Task 1 - Stop the recharging of the shields. Task 2 - Remove the titan as a threat. Task 3 - Finish off the enemy pos.
Our initial warp in to stop the charging of the shields led to the destruction of a thanatos class carrier. Whilst charging the shields it would appear it held no tank and, when it ran to a nearby planet was hunted down and coldly dismantled by the BoB fleet. Whilst at the planet the D2 titan attempted a remote doomsday detonation, this was countered with the swift destruction of the D2 cyno, effectively removing the titan as a threat for a further hour.
The clock started, BoB command accelerated its plan...
Whilst our recon teams repositioned BoB forces chased down and destroyed a few wayward d2 pilots The hostile pos sat at approximately 45% shields, it was time to finish the job. As we engaged the carriers that had again tried to recharge the shields were forced to warp out and not much seemed to happen, there was no obvious reaction... and then the fleet warped away from the under-fire pos. With the pos entering armor the D2 fleet warped back on to us, choosing to engage LukeC in a moros class dreadnought. With the entire D2 fleet, including dreadnaughts, engaging the target we expected to lose at least one dread. We had accepted this before we started but we were determined to make them pay in kind for the loss.
LukeC survived the battle. He hovered on 50% armor almost the whole time. As we brought the BoB fleet in to the hostile pos rather than target battleships we went straight for their dreadnaughts. Two D2 capital ships eventually turned in to loot, one naglfar and one moros.
No BoB capital ships have died so far today. The battle will rage all weekend, you will find updates here as we get them.
So, D2, you've poked the hornets nest and it has just ripped your finger off, let's see how you fair for the rest of the weekend - two more of your pos are out of reinforced, for now, can you save them?
Seriously, if I never hear another word from your lying, cheating, dev ass-kissing mouth it'll be WAY TOO SOON!!
Everytime I see more tripe from you guys i throw up in my mouth a little. . . Tired of 30 day plus research wait times? Want to produce your stuff faster? Try Liquid Research!! |

You know perhaps Shin Ra couldn't have posted about the titan dying because he posted this A FULL HOUR before it had even been killed? I dunno maybe just a hunch. As for the Titan in question Dying, dirty and lame tactics for sure, but all's fair in love and war right? me, I wouldn't derive any satisfaction or honor from killing 10 titans if they were logged off

I doubt LV will die so soon, just because they lost their capital POS doesnt mean they've they lost the war yet. And NO i'm no fan of LV but facts are facts. It isn't like either BOB or LV will fold quickly, both are primarily PVP alliances with TONS of resources. Besides, WE haven't killed them too many of them. YET.
Hello Neessa,

Originally by: Dianabolic 18:06 Whilst sieging further pos in 7BX calls came in that WOTANKNs' Erebus had been caught in space limbo. We couldn't believe our luck as our siege cycles were ending, we cancelled them and immediately prepped to cyno. The fleet grouped around Shrike and readied to be portal'd.
The call went out, jump jump jump... the BoB fleet appeared in YZ-LQL and immediately warped to our covert ops. As the bloodthirsty pilots came out of warp we saw one target, and one target only... the D2 Erebus. With expectation and emotions running high dreads immediately entered siege as more and more firepower entered the grid.
Bubbles were dropped as nos's raged from our carriers, as silence prevailed over our voice communications...
Limbo isn't a good place, for a Titan, so we turned it in to a wreck.
We took your finger, earlier, now we've taken your arm, D2, we're going back to 7BX now, see you there...
By reading that post I get the impression that certain ppl things its uber kewl and a real achivment to use tricks like Smartbombing spies and whatnot to kill a titan.
Anyhow that report is accurate leaving those parts aside where BoB isnt looking that good.

I grow tierd of seeing multi billion isk ships die cos the pilot went to spend some time with their family or partner / goto bed or log off from this drug we call eve, surely its time for super capitals to have a reinforced mode (even if its no more than hours)
That would at least justify the storys behind titans - wernt they supposed to be uber rare ships that the empires and factions have held hidden for decades? i sure bet that the story behind the amarr emperors sons titan dont die logged off (while concord agents sneak into the amarr stageing pos and set off a sneaky smartbomb)do they?
Some sort of alliance mail or corp mail that informs the owners corp that the supercapital has been smashed out of action and is now drifting with all power diverted to sheilds which will fail in (insert hours of stront or something here)
It just gives the superships a bit more of a chance surely? plus means that ensuing battles take place....
Meh i dunno, i try to see the storyline behind alot of this game but all i see is the desire for a killmail and pressing orbit - f1 - f8 - cant wait for infinity lol
