The first time I fire up the launcher in a day my 10Mb line is maxxed out for about 10s-20s,. This only happens the first time I start it in a day, after that each other time I start it does nothing. It's not a patch as the blue bar at the bottom says 'ready' and I can log-in and play straight away.
It's just strange that each day it downloads something about 20MB-30MB in size. I'd like to know what it is. |

I guess test client downloads. It's normal. You wont see it when the launcher shows TQ. When it happens try to change to test server and you'll see a download there. |

You can disable test servers in launcher settings, if this is the case. If you never log onto Singularity you may want to disable that. One benefit, though, of having test servers enabled is that content is usually pushed out to them before Tranquility, so on patch days you will usually have the content already downloaded if you have the test servers enabled.
