This causes your false sense of disenfranchisement, and thus a general feeling of apathy towards the electoral process. What you fail to realize is that it is your own behavior that is causing it. Honestly, if hisec players want to be represented, they need to organize and put forward a candidate or candidates(s) with enough support to get on the CSM. With as many players as there are in hisec, I'm sure it can be done.
What highsec players must do is give money to CCP in the same proportion as CCP gives them game content, aka "voting with your wallet".
No bacon, no monies. EVE is your bi***, not your wife. Do you feel she's working for her money? Like, now? Like, in the last three years? Like, she plans to work for her money next year? No, No and NO. So why give EVE any money? |

The hypocrisy of this post is amazing. Telling others to 'vote with their wallets' if they are unhappy while this guy (who has public rage quit several times only to come back and stuff even more money of some type into CCPs coffers) can't even do what he's suggesting.

TBH, if I was CCP I would wait until the first of them goes full reetard ( and i'm also pretty sure who that one is) and then would use it to get rid of the whole clown show! Simple as that!

Poor Xenuria, I bet she is still in a state of shock.
Congratulations to the winners, not that anybody really cares.

HiSec is very hard to organize for a lot of reasons. It's where nearly ALL the soloish players are. It's filled with a ton of micro corps, industrialists, marketeers, miners and what not. All the NPC corps are here and there is nobody at their helm so it sets a precedence of a kind for the rest of the systems.
It would be like herding cats, not impossible, but getting a root canal might be more pleasant on a daily basis.
CCP treats HiSec the way it does because it's the Golden Goose of EVE. Most of your part time players, family folks, etc. live there and their monthly PLEX accounts are important to CCP and the game of EVE as a whole.
They get called Carebears and other unsavory names, but in the end HiSec is the anchor to EVE. It's the Continents in the middle of the raging storm generated by LoSec and the Islands of NullSec. It's EVE on 'slow' speed. You don't make much fast, you don't usually lose much fast.
CCP knows all this and they do a pretty good job of protecting HiSec all by themselves, the CSM doesn't really need to protect or represent HiSec but the members of the CSM should have a good grasp of it's importance and factor in that their recommendations should not include ones that kill the Golden Goose.
TL;DR: Don't put HiSec into risk of too much turmoil is all the CSM needs to worry about that part of the game.
Be Positive GÇó Change yourself first, New Eden will come later GÇó EVE is Awesome GÇó CCP isn't the enemy GÇó Players are people too GÇó Where're the clothing blueprints GÇó Yeah, I'm still learning this game

Pray show me one even half way decent candidate and I'll vote for him (next time)
As it happens my main vote went to Nash, a couple of other got votes from me as well.
Scandalous isn't it? A high seccer voting for a Low Sec Pirate. |
