Looking at taking 3 Myrms into c4s, after some fitting work, it looks viable (but kinda slow), but I thought I'd check here.
1400 max reps, 23k armor tank. 458 dps with heavies.
I was thinking about sentries, but with my mids full of cap recharges I don't think its wise.
Domis would probably be better, but they are ~3x as expensive so I don't think its worth it yet. But eventually, I'll probably use them or even Navy Domis.
And before I get SiSi comments: I'd test it if I could but I'm out of Injectors.

I am not sure what this has to do with the price of tea in China.
Are you saying that you can not fly this ship now and are wondering about if you should train towards it?
You do bring up an interesting point here however. I've always thought that SiSi should be an "all level 5" situation or at least give everyone an all level 5 character to test stuff that they can not yet fly on TQ.
There are systems on SiSi where everything on the market is 100 isk. Even if injectors are not included on that list of 100 isk items if they are on the market even at full price you can buy an expensive ship and insure it and undock and get it blown up so that you get an insurance payout on a ship that you never paid for.
I'd be curious to know if either of those options are available on SiSi atm or not. |

Injectors are not on the market period. At least not in 6-C. Or anywhere else I looked.
I can't fly this yet but it would be ~5d train, so yeah, I was wondering if it would work..

Would a spider-tanking setup issue perhaps be better put in ships and modules or even GD? |

I use the fitting tool in Eve-HQ for testing out how applied affects work.
I spent quite a while living in a C4 .. your major problems will be - DPS survival - engagement range (~100km) - ewar effects (which includes neuting)
Heavy drones are not fast, the lack of Nav-comps will make that 100km spawn range noticeable Heavy drones do not track frigates very well, the lack of Omni-dirs will make frigates take much longer to die TP's work well to make killing frigates easier (and they count as an e-war module for the sleeper AI targeting algorithm)
Personally I'd use all Medium on the RR/Cap, purely because it keeps ranges consistant. I'd also look to fit more than 1 DDA. |

Span ranges could cause problems. Its possible I could work a nav comp in.
I've got enough of a drone bay to take full flights of lights, mediums, and heavies.
With 3 Myrms I have enough tank for all the anoms, and one of the relic/datas.
I don't think neuts will be an issue, because the ship that's getting neuted will be the ship that's getting the reps. Unless the sleepers spread neuts.

We used to spider tank Tengus. For a C4 only 2 or 3 ships were needed (only took one repper), but for a C5 or C6 it was more like 5-6 as at least one and sometimes two would be neuted completely dry (and it took 2 or 3 reppers).
Old Tengu fit
I'm not sure how larger and slower battlecruisers would fair though. |
